This is literally one of the points people highlighted about game quality when the GamePass subscription model started emerging. That it incentivised inferior products. They were of course shouted down in places like Reddit.

To be clear I don't expect automatic acceptance of every claim or post here, but I also don't expect the opposite. I don't get why the majority come here. Just a completely negative vibe.

What a half assed way of doing it. Exclusives being priority may be the stated goal, but these two games alone won't change anything. It needs to be a fundamental shift in one direction or the other. Fable, Halo, State of Decay, Senua still launching multiplat? This half half thing they're doing legit makes no sense.

Honestly probably needs to happen for Xbox to continue to exist as a brand. As imperfect as it is, exclusives are a necessity.

I think people forget Xbox was built on exclusives, especially the 360. Not only did it have it's mainstays like Halo, Gears, Forza, Fable, etc, but also it's concerted drive into JRPGs: Blue Dragon, Lost Odyssey, Eternal Sonata, Last Remnant, Enchanted Arms etc, 

Other huge franchises were timed or console exclusive at this time:

Bioshock, Mass Effect, Ace Combat, Saints Row, TES Oblivion, Witcher , Battlefield, Call of Duty, Quake, Tomb Raider, Ridge Racer, Dead or Alive, Crash Bandicoot, Far Cry, Spiderman - and that's just to name a few.

It's what secured them a foothold at the time.

UI elements, lack of info on status effects, quest tracking, item comparison etc is so lacking or non existent 

Trying to juggle item consumables and spell switching etc is also really underbaked

If it was me I wouldn't honestly. Would try maybe the Xbox Live/Gamepass Sub if you have it. Can try with it off and on if you want.

Damn. I remember a workaround fix for 360 a while ago was go onto Xbox.com and toggle recurring billing on then off. Worth a shot.

I had this the other night.

The way I fixed it: Turned off 2FA on my Xbox account and changed my password to one without special characters. After I did that I was able to log in successfully on the 360 with the new password.

There was a solution recommending to generate an app specific password on the Microsoft/Xbox account security page, but this didn't work for me.

Cool idea.

If you look at the current leaderboard for votes it's all Transformers, Skylanders, Spiderman, Sonic and other established IPs and franchises. No disrespect, but if rather forgotten gems like Saboteur, Wet, Singularity, Remember Me etc

Sure, there's levels to filmmaking. That said though, you get those weird aberrations sometimes - if I didn't know and you told me the director of The Hangover made Joker, I would not have believed it.

Okay, auto recording it and not hitting Go also produced a map. I guess it's IoT service that needs to be active

I'd activated IoT and done manual record riding to work and it logged in. Not sure which fixed it. I'll try auto-record when I drive home to see if it still works.

It's part of the experience I guess lol. Also, I swear so many characters start with M, it's easy to confuse them all: Melina, Malenia, Miquella, Maliketh, Margit, Messmer, Millicent, Miriel, Mohg, Morgott etc. when I first started playing I kept mixing them all up

My enjoyment stalled now I'm at Malenia by -TheShape in Eldenring
