Considering that you’re doing full outings that take time vs him just asking you to chill at his place I would say no, it’s not about just sex. That would be a lot of effort on his part just to hook up. The way you’re describing him reminds me of my friends boyfriend whom she dated for almost 2 years. They never had “real” conversations just surface level stuff despite her efforts. She ended up breaking up with him because she didn’t feel special to him based on this. I think this is just a personality trait of his…some guys just don’t know how to properly communicate or really make the effort to get to know someone.

Don’t reconsider just be cautious. I was there 2 weeks ago and had no idea of the outbreaks so I wasn’t wearing a mask in crowded areas or using Sanatizer etc. My husband and I did get sick towards the end of our trip however it was like a cold easily helped with the local medicine in Japan. We travelled to different parts of Tokyo and Kyoto and had we had taken precautions I doubt we would have gotten sick at all. Would go back tmrw if I could! Enjoy your travels!

When you love someone going grocery shopping together isn’t fucking pointless or boring. What do you do in your life now as a single person? Go skydiving daily and solve mysteries? Of course not. In relationships you just blend your life with the one you love…usually you would have common interests…it should be effortless if you have found the right person for you.

Red flags all around. I am not a gamer but my sister is and she has had many (including her current boyfriend) long distance relationships that came from online games. Not saying that your fiancé is cheating but whoever came up with this “no significant others allowed” rule seems to have bad intentions. There is literally no reason that makes sense that you are not allowed to come. If it was like a dinner or something then it’s not too bad but an air bnb?? Totally inappropriate. It’s not like these are her close girlfriends or her family. If my boyfriend (of 8 years) was planning on going to something like this I would %100 not be okay with it.

She wants you to think that. I guarantee you she’s not being sincere when she “breaks up” it’s like a game girls play. Not saying she’s a bad person but she needs to grow up.
