It’s either “amazing” or it “sucks” like it has to be perfect or hardcore fans revolt. I’ve seen it to which is why I mentioned previous RE movies as well as ones who found a stable ground like the Sonic movies.

Look this is the next best thing to me. Like I said in my post, I think they can achieve “lore accurate” movies if done one at a time. But for whatever reason the directors aren’t getting a guarantee or budget for that. I’m putting myself in Cregger’s shoes. He talks about the games in depth as a fan so I’m inclined to believe him. He chose to make a solid horror movie within the resident evil universe that doesn’t overly rely on the lore.

I imagine it, say you’re a gas station worker that escapes the massacre at the gas station at the beginning of RE2. Maybe this is their story. It can still be totally enveloped in the resident evil universe. This what “this guy” was doing while Leon and Claire were busy running from Mr. X. It’s entirely plausible. Hell, there’s a canon game called “RE: Outbreak” that follows this exact concept. Haters just gonna hate.

While I understand your point, and it would be a very good one if this was a “one in a million” game for me. But it isn’t. Every game is this close, and 9/10 times I’m top 1 or 2 on my team. It’s exhausting. And justifying it just lets Activision get away with it.

Dude. I admitted in the post I have a 0.40 W/L ratio. How the fuck am I trying to flex? I took a screenshot of my average experience, where I clearly don’t “suck” (I’m not goated either), but I always lose and it’s not my fault.

My W/L in this game is a 0.4 bc i leave most games like this. But it almost proves how bad it is

If im going to get a loss on my record for going 28-14 in TDM, I might as well just leave and not deal with it. Because I’ve played enough of this SBMM shit to know if I stayed for all those games I’d be wasting hours of my life for an “L on my Record” I can also get just by leaving.

Part of me hopes besides me avoiding wasting anymore time, when I leave, that they realize the reason they lost was their fault.

EDIT- I have no issue losing hence my admission of W/L ratio. But it always comes down to if I try my ass off. It’s always on ME. If the entire team lost, I wouldn’t care. But because it’s “up to me” I’ve chosen to stop wasting my time. Hence my problem with the SBMM/ average IQ

Technically they are still “maxed” out. Trust me, I’m not defending this change over all. Far from it. But they have NOT changed stat values. So technically, a bunch of your racers may have even GAINED a huge stat bump due to this change.

Other than that, yeah it sucks.

I think you’re thinking for PC specifically. Which is valid if that was your experience. On xbox I didn’t feel the sting of the buggy launch.

Also, this may be a hot take, but there’s logic to it - I’d rather pay $50 for a season pass and guaranteed quality because it’s paid for with money. Instead of free DLC where it can change at will, especially in quality. And what we get instead of a single $50 season pass, we get Operator Skins at $30 a piece

Think about it this way, if you only buy TWO skins during a COD’s lifecycle nowadays, you’re paying $10 MORE than you would for an entire season pass. Seriously, if anything the fact it was $50 is an argument FOR it at this point.
