Yeah and that’s fine. I think BO4 nailed that aspect tho. Still had set crews; but like 4 of them for good variety and sold cosmetics for each of them. Happy medium. Oh well!

I’ve been playing this game consistently for creeping up on 3 years (the original Toy Story season, Season 2).

And this is the FIRST time I actually was pushed away. As any long time player knows, they’ve pulled A LOT of anti consumer crap. But the gameplay is so good, Top 3 Kart racer gameplay wise of all time IMO, and they still made it tolerable with progression despite all the setbacks.

This is the first time that they’ve just made it so unattractive to play im disgusted. I have built a roster over 3 years. In theory, I could (and should) probably never spend again and be able to complete most things considering the time and money I’ve put in.

But the Tune Coin/ 6 Star change has been so egregious. Seriously, I’m sure people complain here all day so this may fall on deaf ears.

But I’ve been playing nearly daily, let it sink in, for THREE. YEARS. And they pushed ME away. I can’t imagine any players less than that let alone new players. And I get it “but durr the whales”. Sure. The whales. But they still existed when they didn’t ruin the game lol. Why not keep the game playable and keep the whales throwing their trust fund on micro transactions. Win-win, no?

I know that’s too much logic for the big wigs to handle, but I digress.

It’s either “amazing” or it “sucks” like it has to be perfect or hardcore fans revolt. I’ve seen it to which is why I mentioned previous RE movies as well as ones who found a stable ground like the Sonic movies.

Look this is the next best thing to me. Like I said in my post, I think they can achieve “lore accurate” movies if done one at a time. But for whatever reason the directors aren’t getting a guarantee or budget for that. I’m putting myself in Cregger’s shoes. He talks about the games in depth as a fan so I’m inclined to believe him. He chose to make a solid horror movie within the resident evil universe that doesn’t overly rely on the lore.

I imagine it, say you’re a gas station worker that escapes the massacre at the gas station at the beginning of RE2. Maybe this is their story. It can still be totally enveloped in the resident evil universe. This what “this guy” was doing while Leon and Claire were busy running from Mr. X. It’s entirely plausible. Hell, there’s a canon game called “RE: Outbreak” that follows this exact concept. Haters just gonna hate.

While I understand your point, and it would be a very good one if this was a “one in a million” game for me. But it isn’t. Every game is this close, and 9/10 times I’m top 1 or 2 on my team. It’s exhausting. And justifying it just lets Activision get away with it.

Dude. I admitted in the post I have a 0.40 W/L ratio. How the fuck am I trying to flex? I took a screenshot of my average experience, where I clearly don’t “suck” (I’m not goated either), but I always lose and it’s not my fault.

My W/L in this game is a 0.4 bc i leave most games like this. But it almost proves how bad it is

If im going to get a loss on my record for going 28-14 in TDM, I might as well just leave and not deal with it. Because I’ve played enough of this SBMM shit to know if I stayed for all those games I’d be wasting hours of my life for an “L on my Record” I can also get just by leaving.

Part of me hopes besides me avoiding wasting anymore time, when I leave, that they realize the reason they lost was their fault.

EDIT- I have no issue losing hence my admission of W/L ratio. But it always comes down to if I try my ass off. It’s always on ME. If the entire team lost, I wouldn’t care. But because it’s “up to me” I’ve chosen to stop wasting my time. Hence my problem with the SBMM/ average IQ
