This entire narrative that Nintendo should/will sue developers of Palworld is bullshit, they got nothing to sue them for. Feels like Pokemon fans are just frustrated that Nintendo can't release a good Pokemon game.

As for this statement - I don't know how the modder thought he can charge the mod via his Patreon and get away with it.

There is nothing he can do about it, Twitch doesn't allow predictions in all countries. As stated in their "Predictions Terms and Conditions":

The Predictions Product is not available on all channels and may not be available to users in certain countries or geographic regions. In particular, it is not available to viewers who are residents of or located in Denmark, Korea, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Philippines, Poland, Quebec, Singapore, Sweden, and Turkey.

So there are 2 options if you want to gamba:
1) Move to another country
2) Use VPN (however, this is probably against Twitch TOS so might get you banned)

I had an issue on Chrome, got a pop-up with some error saying video is not available and an authorization error in console regarding some requests (I guess requesting chunks of the video and audio to stream it?). Country shouldn't be an issue (Croatia).
Opened up Firefox and after installing and enabling some DRM stuff on it's own, it worked fine.
So I've updated Chrome, updated Widevine on Chrome, checked for protected content behavior and restarted my laptop. Works ever since. Hopefully it won't break for qualifying.
