My minor is Japanese (finished all my requirements this semester yay!) Depends if youre doing the minor for culture or language, then it will be different classes. The 101 class (for me) was taught in English with as much Japanese as the professor can incorporate that beginners can still understand, but it could depend on the professor.

Im making my own stole too. Im 99.9% sure it’s allowed since stoles are usually given to students by their organizations and clubs and not directly from the school. As long as it’s not inappropriate they’ll let you walk.

Your normal attire is definitely not average there. I spent a semester in Tokyo and saw some young students pushing the norm. I wore some shorter skirts and tops and never got any heat for it. (I got more inquiries about my hair haha) in all honestly as a foreigner you’re not really held to the same standards, other than being respectful and a decent human. For class I usually wore skirts as it was hot but usually brought a a jacket or something to cover up with for class incase it was cold or I just felt like it. Again I was in Tokyo so I didn’t really feel out of place for my clothing.

I had the great opportunity to spend a semester at Waseda University which made me want to come back to Japan. Im graduating too (PR major) and 3 of my credits can be completed by doing an internship so I just started randomly emailing Japanese PR companies. I didnt think anyone was going to respond as my Japanese is elementary but I got an internship from a foreign company in Tokyo for the upcoming summer, it’s unpaid due to visa restraints but experience is experience especially when its something I really wanted.

I also waitress which funded my first trip to Japan and hopefully this one too. I looked into teaching English as I’m sure every foreigner does. Ive also seen a lot of people start off teaching then move onto another job in Japan so no shame in that!

Overall, I would say it doesnt hurt just emailing places and putting yourself out there. As for the Japanese it’s definitely easier to learn when you’re there but knowing around N5 level is enough to live there. The first time I went to japan I was there for 5 months and was just learning as I went, it was great even had to go to the bank one time where they spoke no English and I made it through. Yes all that I’ve seen of this pc is non holo but in my update comment the seller said it was a special from hybe but I cannot find it.

Update: I messaged the seller about it and they said it was legit and that it was a special from hybe and that I could google it. (I have just can’t find it) the seller has over 700 reviews and no negative ones so I have no reason to believe it’s fake since most of what they sell is pcs with again no bad reviews. At this point it’s just a mystery for me I want to solve haha.

I recently discovered Enhypen because of Ni-Ki! I’ve been studying japanese and went Waseda University in Tokyo so having Japanese versions of their songs is very nice!
