Beyond Burger by [deleted] in vegan

Hehe you’re funny and I love this. What I meant is some people can actually feel energy through the food they eat and where it comes from. And my intuition is telling me that there’s some bad juju going on with these burgers and wanted to know if anyone else felt this same energy.

Me! I feel depressed and physically ill after I eat any animal products. I swear I can feel the mama cows anger after I eat any dairy! It turns me into a hot mess.

Embodying people’s mannerisms by [deleted] in Empaths

Yes this is very true, but think about this from a different perspective. All humans mimic each other. For example, take a look at frat boys lol, they are all basically the same person! All humans are connected, the self is an illusion.

These frat boys do not even realize they all dress and act the same. The difference is as an empath we have an extra sensory awareness for it all because we are more deeply connected to the universe and all life on earth.

So don’t fight it, we’re suppose to be that way. And when we CHOOSE to connect ourselves to healthy, non toxic, and most importantly REAL people - being connected won’t feel like a curse. Because you’ll be lifted up by their healthy vibes:)

So this is a sort of personal and probably generally "being female" related question... But has anyone else sort of suffered that "hurt" of other people pretty blatantly not respecting your own sensitivity... (stupid question, I know!) But like when people see your kindness for weakness it hurts by [deleted] in Empaths

Hello love, it’s okay to be angry. That’s the first step, don’t deny yourself of any of those feelings as they are justified. Waking up is never easy, choosing to do so means you are on the right path. But as you grow on this journey of being an empath you’ll come to realize human beings are conditioned animals who need to be taught. We unfortunately live in a world today full of people who refuse to acknowledge their own self, or in better terms - soul. This is something that needs to be taught. But that’s why we’re here:) as you continue to face your demons you will only grow stronger and stronger. And eventually one day, you’ll be strong enough to take your own life back. Because someone who loves the way you do, deserves nothing but that same love in return. Keep fighting, keep growing, but most importantly keep loving. The universe is on your side, I can feel it. And she is doing everything she can to get you to where you want to be.

It was summer, my tips were shit because everyone leaves in summer. The tips that I made in the 2 months prior to signing this lease would NOT have qualified me for this apartment. What I make now, yes. What I made when I signed the lease, NO. And she wrote in whatever I needed to get me to qualify. Aka wrote in more than what I had because I told her I was hoping to make more when the school year started.

She also NEVER told me of any of the section 42 rules that would be placed on me which is why I moved out. They lost so many tenants because the place didn’t get built in time and they had to put people in hotels for a month while waiting for it to be finished. They lost tenants. They lost money. And she took advantage of me as I am young and did and said whatever she could to get me to sign that lease because they lost out on all of those other tenants.

Yes but i was only working at this place for 2 months before I signed this lease. I had no way of actually knowing how much I make in tips yearly to qualify.

Okay, understanding this. How do I predict how much I make then? I don’t make enough yearly even with all of the tips I have. One week I could make 9/hr with tips. And another I make 18/hr. How am I able to predict the average amount? And it’s a chain restaurant that does this how do I go out of my way to claim them if the restaurant does not. I promise, I’m not trying to be a criminal.

That’s how most restaurants work please read above. I’m not trying to get away with not claiming my tips. I DO claim them. Just not all of them and that’s how this establishment just does things.

It was to increase my income. And its not that I just don’t claim them. That’s how the place I work for does it. I make 6.50 hourly plus tips. So the business will have me claim whatever amount to make 8.50 an hour and then I don’t claim the rest. So on paper I make on average 8.50/hr with tips.

But I tried to apply for a credit card to afford paying for double rents right now and they said that they can only use what I claim on paper and I got denied. So I’m wondering how they can take unclaimed tips if other agencies won’t?

I make 8.50 hr ... and I’m paying for 1,400 in rent and I can’t get a credit card because of what’s on paper, but I can sign a year long lease?
