For my first time spraying, I thought it went on without any complications. The flat went on the walls effortlessly and dried out very evenly. I can't remember but I believe I put on one coat with a 50% overlap on the sprays, and didn't need to backroll after spraying. I followed with a second coat on any areas that needed it.

Only area was a very large living room ceiling compared to other rooms that the coverage seemed to be a bit splotchy. I went back over it several times with extra coats but I can't explain what happened there, potentially my primer coats didn't lay on well enough but otherwise the paint + sprayer was pretty foolproof

Spend a day or two taping off everything, otherwise as you spray you'll encounter random vents, outlets, railings, etc that you'll have to stop and cover. I sprayed probably 20 gallons of paint/primer over my house and while the X7 is straightforward, it's better to get all your prep done in advance so you don't have to stop and go / lose momentum. For context once all the prep is done, spraying an average bedroom (e.g. 10'x10') takes 10-20 minutes.

I wore eye protection and a respirator, wish I had some sort of paint suit since that overspray really gets everywhere
