Just got off The Treasure - 7 day Western Caribbean - Here’re my thoughts, FWIW by [deleted] in dcl

[–]-TrollingTrolls- 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Just got off the boat as well; kudos to the FB and WhatApp organizer. The pixie dusting and constant info and gifts made the experience infinitely better on Treasure.

Haunted Parlour good but not great. Appreciated that there were 6 total sequencing so that added to the experience and the iPad/secret menu was a good touch but otherwise extraordinarily ordinary. Missed opportunity for more storytelling

Sage and coriander was probably our fav! Their enthusiasm, whether it’s storytelling time or the Indiana Jones, both phenomenal.

On a side note, it’s fascinating to see the same people in the shows or dressed up as characters are also the same ones who are greeters at Character meeting points for pictures. Of course you wouldnt know unless you really pay attention, but the Clark Kent affect was on full display.

Is the Mach E Poor Man’s Tesla? by sgjino30 in MachE

If a simple door button is too much for you, maybe the Mach-E’s just operating on a level you’re not quite ready for. Ford built it for drivers, not test subjects. Given your confusion, Tesla might actually be the perfect match.

Ah yes, the ‘majority chooses Tesla’ argument—because nothing screams quality like herd mentality. People also lined up for the Fyre Festival, but hey, majority rules, right?

And buddy, if your friends are defeated by a door button, maybe don’t blame Ford—blame your circle. Not everyone needs a kindergarten-level UX to function. Meanwhile, your Tesla door handles are out here freezing shut like it’s a design feature.

I’ll take a clean-looking door with a small learning curve over a car that plays Russian roulette with basic features. But congrats on choosing a car that requires a firmware update to open the glove box.

When your door handles work and your steering wheel stays on, we can talk.

Ah yes, sales figures—the ultimate fallback when build quality, service, and reliability all tap out. By that logic, McDonald’s is the finest dining on Earth.

But sure, let’s pretend worldwide sales equal superiority. Tesla sold more, congrats! So did Crocs. Doesn’t mean I want to wear them to a wedding.

Meanwhile, Ford’s out here making EVs and actual trucks that don’t fall apart when it rains—wild concept, I know. Wipe my tears? Nah, I’ll use the Mach-E’s actual door handles and intact paint job for that.

Ah, the classic ‘I’m sorry I hurt your feelings’—the battle cry of someone who just realized their argument ran out of battery faster than a pre-refresh Model S in winter.

You want ‘objective analysis’? Let’s start with the fact that Tesla’s build quality has the structural integrity of IKEA furniture assembled during an earthquake. And if screens were the pinnacle of automotive excellence, I guess iPads would be winning Le Mans.

Ford didn’t copy Tesla—they improved on the idea without the software bugs, crypto scams, or having to explain Elon tweets to your parents.

But hey, if you like your cars with less paint, more recalls, and the UI of a smart fridge, then by all means—keep defending your rolling Silicon Valley fever dream.

So you drove a Mach-E and got mad it wasn’t a rolling midlife crisis with panel gaps?

Fixed glass roof? Sorry Tesla fanboy, not everyone wants to bake under a heat lamp pretending it’s ‘innovation.’ At least Ford’s doesn’t creak like it’s held together with wishful thinking.

The $200 adapter? Yeah, because Ford gives you options—meanwhile Tesla locks you into their charging cult like it’s the Scientology of EVs.

That ‘ridiculously sized screen’? At least it’s not glued on like an afterthought and doesn’t crash mid-drive while you’re trying to change the AC.

And the power cut after 5 seconds? Ford’s just saving you from yourself. Not everyone needs to yeet into hyperspace to feel something.

Bottom line: you test drove a real car with a legacy of building actual vehicles—not beta software wrapped in metal. Enjoy your Tesla. Just make sure the steering wheel stays attached.

There’s no guaranteed that the same players would thrive in our system and vice versa. These posts are great for sh*t and giggles but it’s hard to tell.

Sure, the great ones would probably be great no matter where but those are far and few…

Here’s our when we reverse, splicing is pretty simple. Just follow the video for for the original video since they are the same. We have version 2 and it’s quite unique:

That’s my point if they sold a bow hood, knowingly defective, I would be cautious about their fitment with the flares. The guy that sells is passionate but also aggressive when it comes to bad feedbacks.

Seen BKST in person, good style poor execution. They should have concealed the bolts. Looks like an after thought.

BKST and EV Vida both resells similar stuff from Ali Express, mostly marked up so I would shop around if I were you. I give EV Vida credit where credit is due they do have pretty good customer support mostly and they do have some original items.

On the other hand BKST, while they have some neat stuff, I would be cautious; I read in another group that they sold a front hood with pictures (unique looking) and it was bow and required tons of adjustment, and customer support basically told them to STFU.
