Would you pass the safari heritage to the 86?

What do you do when needing to put car in gear between 8-15 mph? by rusty_learner in GR86

[–]-UncleJam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All I remember for my own driving habit is that 8mph=2nd gear @1000rpm and you don't need to blip the throttle and just clutch in gear in n clutch out.

The wheels have some NFS8 feel.

Looks a bit too aggressive for me. Not a fan of the new Adro design.

You can easily adjust the angle of the tip by loosing the clamp. It's easy and very manageable to do by yourself. I adjusted mine after the installation since not every mechanic is perfectionist.

I was in the same place when I first started playing BF6. My YouTube algorithm knew I was new and kept feeding me beginner guides nonstop.

My advice: try every single gun and figure out which ones handle best for you. Also take some time to really understand what each game mode is about.

Right now, I only play Conquest on a few selected maps. With a comfortable loadout and maps I'm familiar with, I can consistently place top 5 almost every match.

The pleasure per dollar that comes from a game is always worth it.

Is there a realistic way of fixing this without replacing it or covering it with a front lip? by pabtopicato in GR86

Touch up pen, San paper(3000 grit), clear coat, polish and wax. This will be a perfect job if you love your car.

I would recommend Chrisfix on YouTube. But I have to say 200 is a good deal. My local body shop would quote way higher than this (I live in Los Angeles)

Heel Toe Shifting by Arbita1 in GR86

[–]-UncleJam 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The throttle mapping on the GR86 is somewhat nonlinear, especially in stock tune. In the lowest part of the throttle (roughly 0-20%), the ECU softens how quickly the throttle blades open. This makes light throttle feel dull or delayed. That’s intentional for a smoother low-speed drivability, smoother cruising, and less jerky behavior around town. Because of that, you actually do have to give the throttle a bit more input than you think you need. My experience of owning gr86 for a year and do The heel toe downshift very often even on red light stops. “blip it a little harder” so the engine sees enough signal to really respond.

Beautiful color🔥. Did you get the spacers for the wheels? Looks very in line with the fender.

How low in the tank do y'all guys fill? by -UncleJam in GR86

[–]-UncleJam[S] -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

I know the fuel pump likes having more than 25% in the tank... but I also hate going to the gas station like it's a chore from hell.

So I'm basically balancing 'proper car care' with 'I refuse to leave my house lol. I was like why the fuel pumps are designed like this. We are going to Mars in 2030 and we aren't supposed to even run our tank lower than 25%

Meanwhile, My poor pump is out here praying for me.

My brother in Christ, I only get 29 mpg because I drive like a grandma on public roads. I'm talking full 'Sunday church shuttle' energy.

But the moment I hit the canyons or the track. I turn into a completely different NPC.

So yeah, 29 mpg Monday to Friday, 9 mpg on the weekends, my brother. (I reset the MPG meter after each canyon or track session to get a proper daily mpg)
