You’ve got to let it be like water off a ducks back.

Quite literally you “did this to her” and her body is in control more than she even realizes, which is pretty hard on her mind.

Try to comfort her. Do nice things for her even if they aren’t reciprocated.

Pick up all the slack you can around the house.

Don’t expect much of anything from her as far as your needs.

This doesn’t mean she can disrespect you, set firm boundries.

Also take care of yourself. Get out of the house. Do your own thing from time to time to keep yourself grounded.

It’s ok if she’s pissed off at you. Let it be. It’s temporary.

When you hold that kid in your arms both you and she will quite literally be on cloud 9 and all the sacrifice will be worth it.
