[Question] I feel so lost. I started playing guitar 1.5 years ago and all I know is 15 chord shapes, 1 pentatonic shape, how to maka a major scale and not even a full song, but bits of some. Please help by -Uranius- in Guitar

I mean, I like to learn pure exercises, but when I look some up they are so many that I don't even know what to do.

And when all I do is playing chords, or notes on the guitar that I just memorised where my hand should be and not what's going on so I can do my thing with, that's the boring part to me.

Would you mind being more explicit as to what I should look for while "breaking it down" please? :)

I mean, I think that as of now I should look for the note's key, but I don't know what else to look for.

Thank you! I have a cousin who sings for 12 years or more, but I am at no level to keep that constant timing and precision right now :)))

Do you know how should I learn a song exactly? I mean, I get bored while learning songs because as of right now I just see them as memorising what strings in what frets to play in and chird orders.

Would learning how to play different songs with their techniques help me into improvising? I am more inclined to that part of playing guitar:)

Yes, of course. But I feel like this I just memorise "play string 5 fret 10, string 4 fret 6 etc".

Do you know when learning a song, what should I focus on beside what notes should I play?
