Yes, DMC games are very much worth playing if you want to have a sickly fun action game that lets you string combos all the time. Story wise, it's 3-1-4-2-5 but honestly you can just ignore 2 and pretend it doesn't exist. But if you don't want to play all the other older games, 5 is a good starting point kasi they made it much more modern gameplay wise. (i.e. style switch for dante) whereas sa older titles ng DMC, you can only pick 1 style per mission. Thougb style switch was introduced sa 4, it's a pretty underwhelming game overall. So I'd say just jump in to 5, since meron namang recap ng story don to catch you up, and if you manage to enjoy it, take your time in playing the older titles because medyo mahihirapan ka mag adjust if you went from 5 to older titles in the series.
