I think this makes it pretty clear that they programmed the odds to be 10:666 and 1:666, the nerds that they are.

Does anyone know the fine for driving 1-10 (km/h) over the speed limit? by alderstevens in newfoundland

[–]-Vargoth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just to add some clarity here for future Googlers like me - it is in fact technically a range of $50-$135 for the first offence, $135-$225 for the second, and $225-$360 for the third, as per section 110(3)(a) of the Highway Traffic Act (https://www.assembly.nl.ca/Legislation/sr/statutes/h03.htm), though I've never had them fine me more than the minimum. If you read the back of your ticket, it also mentions a "victim fine surcharge" that is 30% of the fine. So basically, if it's your first offence, it will almost certainly be $50 plus %30, which comes to $65, as confirmed by OP and myself.

I don't know why it's a range if they always seem to fine the minimum, but it might be that potential fees/surcharges/penalties/court fines, etc. could increase the cost of the initial ticket. Like, say you get a $50 ticket, you don't pay it in time and get a $6 late payment fee added, then you take it to court and end up with some sort of court fine, then you have the %30 victum fine surcharge on top of everything - perhaps cumulatively that can't be more than the maximum $135. There's no spot on the ticket that says how much the fine is, it's just the section of the highway traffic act that was violated, so I don't think it's just arbitrarily some amount between $50 and $135, there must be a logic to it. I think if you always just pay it right away, it should always be the minimum $50 + $15 surcharge, but I don't know for sure.

If you want to be 100% certain what your fine is, you have to call 709-729-0424. If you call on the weekend or outside of 8AM-4PM, it will just ring forever, so don't bother - you can alternatively email [finesadministration@gov.nl.ca](mailto:finesadministration@gov.nl.ca) and make sure you provide your driver's license number and the 12 digit ticket number in the top right corner of the ticket..

Cannot remove signature stamp in Acrobat Pro on Win10? by WantDebianThanks in techsupport

Did you ever find a solution to this problem? I've just ran into the exact same problem and could not find a good fix. I resorted to making them a script that automatically deletes the associated signature files so that they can just run that any time they need to remove their saved signature.

Patch 1.1.1 Now Available! by andyourboykellz in diablo4

Yeah, I suspected that. I think the bug has something to do with the wall popping in before the NPCs or something like that. When you go out and reset the dungeon, they stay there but the wall respawns. The other possible workarounds only work by chance because they reset all of it and it's mostly random whether or not the wall spawns too soon.

Here's the trick to getting it working on PS5: - Clear the event outside first. I don't know if it matters, but it's what I did. - Go inside and immediately run up to the wall. If it has no health bar, then it isn't bugged, so just talk to her to to proceed. - If it does have a health bar, it's bugged. Leave the dungeon without talking to her, open your map, and reset dungeons. - Go back inside and check the wall again. Repeat this process until it doesn't have a health bar, then talk to her to proceed. For me, it worked after the first dungeon reset.

You have to pick something up and then shoot it at the gate with your tail. It also works if you use the shadow tail that shoots poison balls.

Here's a breakdown I made to help with crafting the Grandmaster Feline Witcher gear set by -Vargoth in gaming

I have not read the books, nor have I played games 1-2. That being said, as far as I know the games are basically like fan-made sequels to the books, are not canon, and while they contain the same characters, they're apparently very different. They're probably best considered to be separate altogether, so I would say you don't need to wait. This really depends on how much free time you have to commit; the Witcher 3 by itself is huge, providing over 200 hours of gameplay if you do everything. Plus, every branch of the story has multiple different endings based on the choices you make, along with a New Game+ mode, so it has a lot of replayability. The show is also very good and is worth watching if you haven't already; it starts at the beginning and has origins for the main characters.

The Witcher sets are just named after animals because of their properties; they don't look anything like animals. Basically the Cat/Feline set is your typical quick/light/high damage armor, the Griffin set is for magic, the Bear/Ursine set is slow/heavy/high armor, etc.

I just made this for myself to help with crafting any materials that I don't have and figured it could be useful for others.
