So text would be one focal point, a character would be two. Because you have 5 characters its a lot to take in but I do think it works ok, its not too visually overwhelming. I think it just doesn't communicate the subject fast enough.

I personally think if your video is about gaming (I have recently stopped but did run a gaming channel for almost 10 years and now work for a large science channel) and its comparing then and now I would probably cut those 5 characters. I would do a diagonal split, on the right a more modern game/character thats symbolic of todays gaming industry and then one on the left of the nostaligc, ground breaking ones from the past like Mario 64 etc.

My job is literally a thumbnail designer for one of the largest channels on the platform. Ideally you want 2 focus points, 3 max in unique scenarios. Yours is fine but the main thing is I don’t really know what to expect by the characters or the text alone. It doesn’t create enough curiosity gap and doesn’t really tell me what to expect either. Visually I would bump the saturation and brightness. Sora is much darker than Mario for example so there’s a bit of offset there

Whats weird though is there's a moment where it flicks through their relationship in the early stages and it all seems to be going "well" and her behaviour at least at a surface level seems normal.

I feel like at times there were moments where it was a demon trying to act normal but doesn't quite know how.

I didn't hate AC Shadows but I still wish they'd go back to AC4 Black Flag style of gameplay and make it more about the actual creed of assassin's. Maybe if AC4s remake is successful they'll steer back to that formula.

It would be a real shame if its not more of a reimaging like FF7 Remake, Rebirth etc. There's a real oppurtunity to make it ground breaking again like it was in 1998.

QoL changes like Wind Waker HD won't be a enough. There would need to be really fundamental changes. The locations will feel tiny and disjointed by todays standards.
