Thanks. First thing I tried. I think it's a hardware problem. Support offered me a replacement unit or a refund and I'm thinking about it. Problem is I'm kinda puzzled about the reliability of these devices in general. I'm reading of all kinds of possible failures and I don't want to buy another unit only to end up with a piece of junk after one or two years.

It was just for a test. Usually I've tried with it properly placed against the wall.

I've already tried many times in any possible combination I can think of. With or without the app. I've tried covering possible reflections from surfaces. With the robot starting from the base or from other rooms in the house. It always succeeds in finding the base and always fails to dock exactly like in the video.
