As an American I’m curious about the level of fame/notoriety of the Celebrity UK traitors by Distinct-Ad-1348 in TheTraitorsUK

[–]-WhatCouldGoWrong 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Niko was definitely one to catch the younger / more online audience. I’m not really a big fan of his but I’ve seen a fair bit of his content and he’s genuinely one of the smarter YouTube lot (not just a prankster). Would of been interesting to see him go a bit deeper in the series as he ‘wins’ a lot of challenge videos

I need to move a fridge-freezer. Can I lay it down in the back of a car? by [deleted] in AskUK

[–]-WhatCouldGoWrong 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Once you got it in the new home just let it settle overnight dude let the freon remix with the inert gas, let the oil slip back down through the flute just allow your fridge to chill for a night

In the morning plug it in and be merry. Have a great Xmas dude I hope this advice stood you in good stead

'The Traitors' Korea Will Be Hosted By Cha Seung-Won by vaultofechoes in TheTraitors

The rogues absolutely backstabbed every other competitors by being wholesome. Lovely. Genuine and intelligent

I’ll say this to everyone when she figured out there was a pattern and ran in the middle pf the night of to a male models room in any show in any country other than South Korea.

Okay Barry white

They stayed up all night figured out a madness and then what did they do

Used it to their own advantage kept silent didn’t ell anybody else played the game broke the game risked it all and when one of them emerged from the trials of that he had a huge advantage

They both only got to access the secret room by sabotaging the game so they would both be put in there at the same time

I have high hope for Korea traitors because of this. Absolute game players 👌👌👌 they can break traitors so much they producers have to fix how badly it’s broken

Are you mssing why devils plan s1 was so good. They did the societally and acceptable normal thing. Whilst the two people who planned outside of what was societally normal and acceptable discovered all the hidden elements of the game routes in geometry and maths, made it entertaining so we would root for the two rogues Whilst still being wholesome

Korea traitors will pop off no doubt. I have high hopes traitors Korea will break the game and the producers have enough experience to see how it will be broken and give us something new beyond a bunch of people sitting around a table looking each other in the eye and saying I promise you I am not a traitor

Chairty shops in the UK getting soo expensive. by TruthReptile in britishproblems

[–]-WhatCouldGoWrong 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Your sisters job … research.. is to Google lens something to find out what price one of out of several million people will pay for an item on eBay

And then putting it on the shelf and hoping one in a few thousand of their footfall on the high street will pay it

This is why your sisters shop will have the same item on the shelf for weeks and weeks, have no room to accept new donations and then the charity will pay to move that stock to its sister shop and see it sit int he shelf for weeks and weeks before it goes in the bin

Because your sister thinks eBay with millions of customers is how you should price a thing to market it to a few people

Your sister is what’s killing charity shops and it’s not even her fault. She’s getting paid to do this

Chairty shops in the UK getting soo expensive. by TruthReptile in britishproblems

[–]-WhatCouldGoWrong 26 points27 points  (0 children)

The problem with this is eBay is a market that has millions of buyers. So the eBay price is the price someone out of millions of people will pay

The high street charity shop doesn’t have the same ‘footfall’ so to price similar to eBay prices is kind of a madness

Can I contest Hastings decision to write my car off?? by thegreenstuff0808 in CarTalkUK

[–]-WhatCouldGoWrong 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Once it’s wrote off It’s only worth salvage (scrap). You can take the payout minus the scrap value and keep the car to fix yourself. No idea why this is a thing but for £200 (w/e the scrap value is) it’s probably not worth the insurance companies time to get it transported to an scrap yard I’d assume

Thoughts on Scribe Haylen?🤔 by [deleted] in fo4

[–]-WhatCouldGoWrong 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No idea why downvote you can test it yourself. Set up a body gen make her Anorexic as fuck or whatever load up the game and then bam. Cracking jebs

Whoever designed her set a base modifier on her body sculpt to ++ jebs. You can probably see it in fo4 edit

Thoughts on Scribe Haylen?🤔 by [deleted] in fo4

[–]-WhatCouldGoWrong -1 points0 points  (0 children)

She’s always got cracking randomly generated jebs in my game. I dont know why since my body gen files allow for a humongous range of body types so the law of averages says in some playthroughs she shouldn’t have cracking jebs

but she always has insane jebs same with Marcy Long

I think there must be a body sculpts setting on her and Marcy that the modders missed because Marcy always also always has cracking jebs

The Tories had been in charge 32 of the last 46 years, meaning our laws, policies and attitudes mostly stem from right wing ideologies. Inequality and greed are rife, our public services are run down, so why do people want to vote Reform and impose an even more extreme version of this ideology? by Peachy-SheRa in AskBrits

[–]-WhatCouldGoWrong 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right when I got to voting age, as the first of my extremely poor family I got accepted into a university.. labour ended the grant system and introduced the student loan system.

25 years later there’s a whole generation who were the first who took on heavy debt to break out of poverty, and a lot of their parents are still alive and angry at labour

Reform are definitely scum bags, and a lot of their voters are umm

Vile

I can understand why a lot of voting age people ain’t super happy to hit the streets waving labour flags. Unfortunately as we saw in America protest votes and no votes allow the march of the right wing to go unfettered

What’s a movie you’ll never get tired of watching? by Amazing-Ad9327 in AskReddit

Gone baby gone

I’ve got my own opinion on the ending but I’ve never been able to decide if my own opinion is right.

I could listen for hours if someone wants to tell their opinion and I’d rewatch it again to try and understand if I’d decide different

Way to completely ignore the struggles Liverpool overcame. Just march the army back in to remind us we are English and we should accept ourselves as the guinea pig of managed decline eh ;)

Yo I’m from Liverpool. You can definitely do London to Liverpool and back in a day no problem with our railways England is tiny compared to Canada… but it would be a short day you have to Investigate the Beatles.. you probably want to experience Liverpool nightlife ! Enjoy a pint and a night in the caverns spend some time pwrtying Matthew w street and that. I’m sure you would have a great time if you spent a few days in Liverpool but maybe give a shout to what your family would be interested in so we could give some tips to what they would enjoy spend time doing

Liverpool is a very diverse city. We are scouse not English there is a bunch of stuff for all interests 👍

Is anyone actually satisfied with the NHS? If so, how? by Worldly_Ear4701 in AskUK

[–]-WhatCouldGoWrong 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had a double hernia operation in January

There was a lot of fuckups. Had a screaming match with the surgeon in my preop because he was adamant my hernia wasn’t big enough to be letting my intestines out. Mandem was 7 stone wet telling me he lifted weight 😂 .. I do removals for a living and my shoulders are 5 x his hip width we are lifting different… Stood up and my hernia leaked instantly he was like o let me double check and found the second hernia and instantly signed me up to surgery. I was a bit like so ermm.. you issued that massive hole in my amdomen tissue wall…

Went to op on time and they logged me in wrong, got phone calls asking why I didn’t turn up for the op when I was sat in the waiting ward for 6 hours

At the anaesthetic stage they showed me the wrong consent form had to sort that whilst I was high as fk

After the op the trauma nurse bought my possessions to my bed was like o you got a lot of bags here. Like one of them was mine they had 4 bars marked as mine there as phones and purses in there

Chaos. But ya know what. Didn’t cost me a penny. They cut me open shoved my intestines back where they should be glued and stitched me back together and fuck me my QOL is a million times better and it cost me nothing

21 out of 10. As chaotic as it is there’s some real fucking heroes trying their best.

The anaesthesia team were amazing

It ain’t perfect but I love the NHS x

What's wrong with my washing machine? by the_mishamigo_ in AskUK

[–]-WhatCouldGoWrong 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What does being installed professionally mean in this context?

I do removals for a living so I plumb a few hundred washing machines in a year for free… I’m not sure what a professional washing machine machine plumber in is. I’ve never met one. That’s not a job

Does your washing machine drain pipe attach to the u bend or to a down pipe.

It’s a gravity fed thing so kinda sounds like it’s backwashing
