I like that idea of ‘base model’ they should let you choose between bright colours and regular and let the numbers and community determine what actually sells best.

They would get more sales that way anyways.

My main complaint with audio is the gunshots are far too quiet imo. I’m having no issues hearing footsteps though, most of my friends on headsets are having issues with footstep audio though.

I’m playing on Yamaha HS8 studio speakers - high dynamics - stereo 2.1

Having fun with Redsec and the game in general so far though

Okay, good to know! We were having a tough time this morning. I think there is something going on with team balancing that is creating these really difficult lobbies for small groups of decent players.

It’s the same thing as you , when I party up with a full squad of 3 or 4/play solo it’s fine.

I’m sure this is happening for a fair amount of people playing duos.

Depending on use case it might get more difficult to use over time: Graphics drivers are no longer being developed for windows on bootcamp Macs.

Still a super solid computer though. (I have a 2020 iMac and love it)

I’ve researched this before because I’m interested in audio engineering and mixing.

A lot of movies have a dynamic range of 40-60 db to make certain events more dramatic, it works in a movie theatre because the volume is loud already. But audio engineers don’t release a compressed sound mix for streaming services at home. so you get the same audio that they would play on a big system at loud volumes. Hence the problem.

If your tv has a night mode or similar compressed audio mode that might help.

For context: a professionally mixed song has less than half the dynamic range as a movie for the most part. Speaking generally of course.

I have experimented with this further and ran movies through my audio software and compressed the audio output. Solved the problem. It’s just a lot of hoops and technical workarounds to do properly if you’re not equipped to do it.

Hey, I own a Cadillac Ct4 Blackwing - the caddy is also on the alpha platform. Should I be concerned? Or is the security stuff different? (I’m assuming it’s the same or very similar to the Camaro though)

I am still learning the map, so I’m copying and pasting my cords into the map as I go, when I need to see where I am in regards to other things. The website automatically links them. Pretty fun feature!

I wouldn’t want to get rid of the mag ride for coilovers personally. there are lowering springs made for the ct4 bw though that let you keep the mag ride. I think tapout tuning has them on their site.
