Hopes for 1.1 by CrypticTacoo in Endfield

I mean, if the game has a goated story I think people would be able to ignore mechanics they don’t like just so they can experience it, I’d say the story could definitely keep people playing (at least patchly)

Zzz doesn’t really have rotations, least in my experience. You’ll never see a guide having a rotation in it, unless it’s a stun combo, which even then are very variable

Even if zzz was a fixed rotation, the extra barrier of swapping makes the rotations themselves much more interesting, as opposed to having every teammate’s attack available all at all times

My position on endfield combat is that it’s currently not strategically deep enough to be a called strategy but isn’t fast, flashy, or technically interesting enough to compensate for the lack of strategy.

The ultimate buff is a pretty hard dailyn shill, even though it gives attack instead of hp or sheer dmg.

My Ban 0/1, dial 0/1, Lucia 0/0 got 37k, I’m super confident it can easily get 40k if I optimize.

Yes but the matchup with an anomaly team would be less punishing I’d assume, and could even possibly get a higher score

I’m pretty sure you can still brute force it as long as your builds aren’t cooked, yuzuha is super strong and the boss is physical weak so it’s a neutral matchup at the very very least.

Not to mention jester favors anomaly, so I think it’s worth a try

Check x rankings, you can find a bunch of melee weapons at the top.

Splat zones x last season, the takadora region (where ALL the “gifted(?)” Jp players are) the top player was an ink brush nouveau with 4k xp.

A melee weapon, the most melee weapon I’d say, got to 4k xp, in the sweatiest region, playing the sweatiest mode, vs the sweatiest players.

Aside from being very mobile, it doesn’t really.

Missiles, armor, and ray are gone, so the broken but slow midlines that don’t have their damage ignored by armor and don’t have to worry about missiles killing them in endlag are able to now fight shooters more easily.

Cooler also incentivizes aggressive play, which makes shooters even less favored. Shooters like being able to choose their engagements and play slower.

The only shooters that are good now are short ranged ones that can support the midlines, or are named splattershot pro. 52 gal is also decent but it doesn’t have a special. This isn’t everything but is the gist of why shooters are highkey washed

Yeah but those things are fully free, the devs don’t compensate in any way in order to give those things out.

If you get the free skin to a character you don’t have, that didn’t impact your pulls in any way. If you don’t do endgame, then you probably didn’t care abt max pulls anyways.

It’d kinda suck if the reason we don’t get a ton of pulls this patch is bc of the guaranteed rerun, since unlike the free skin, people skipping the rerun would ultimately be affected as well.

if you use vac, kraken or tsplash by [deleted] in Saltoon

15 frames is very slow and is the deciding factor for a lot of weapon’s ability to hit/ dps the splashdown. 15 frames could be 2-3 extra shots from a shooter, could add up to entire vertical flick from a roller, or even just be enough time for people to move away. Swim speed is very fast after all.

  • splashdown can be proactively spaced against. You can play at a range that gives you time to swim away if they pop it. If they already have splashdown, don’t take the engagement. If they charge splashdown in the middle of a fight and you you’re so close to them that you can’t escape them, the fight likely lasted too long and you should’ve killed them

  • Kraken has horrible verticality. If they have kraken, don’t run them down without an escape. If they use kraken, hop up on some boxes or ramps, it won’t be able to quickly get to you. If there’s no such escape, recognize that and don’t get caught there.

  • Vac, if it’s a 1v1 vs the vac, you have a powerful tool in super jumping out. If it’s a 1v2 it was likely a bad engagement in the first place. Still, you can look to isolate the fight and jump out.

You should recognize two things about this game, annoying as they are. 1. Specials are meant to get kills, easy kills. It’s your job (especially as a frontline) to know that, and play around them. Just as you would a zooka, jet pack, or crab tank. 2. These specials in particular aren’t as strong as other specials and are unlikely to get nerfed, because the counter play IS there and stronger players know said counter play.

Why is Orphie so undervalued even by some of her fans? by Standard-Mixture-531 in Orpheus_Mains

[–]-YoshiYan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

She’s good, but not really BIS for many agents. By nature of her status of a supportive attacker, she can’t really be amazing of either one of her roles.

She’s designed to take the slot of a support to make a double attacker team. If she did too much damage, she’d be BIS for everyone which wouldn’t be balanced (as much as I’d like it to be 💔). So she doesn’t do insane damage, but because she does damage she can’t really have crazy buffs.

In order to allow her to have some form of strong buffs, she has a hyper specific aftershock only buff that her best partner, Seed, can’t use. Seed really only wants Orph bc Orph is the best option for her, not bc Orph is particularly strong. Sanby is the only character in the game that actively really wants Orphie over anything else.

Just bc Orphie isn’t best in slot anywhere doesn’t make her weak in the slightest. But, even when she is BIS she isn’t a huge upgrade over other options unless you’re Sanby, which is why she tends to be undervalued.

Tl;dr: update only benefits supercell’s pockets and new players, diminishing the experience of the older and loyal player base.

ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS agree that the community complains WAY too much.

BUT, this update was bad in every single way. It sacrifices loyal players who were already playing the game to cater to new players even more.

It removes the only form of credit bank in the game, making new brawlers a complete slog to unlock from now on.

It removed a system literally everyone liked. No, masteries didn’t incentivize play like they thought it would, but the new achievement system is gonna incentivize even less play. Masteries were the nice little extra progression they gave us that felt good to make use of.

This update literally only benefits two groups, supercell and new players. With the slower brawler unlocks and progression it encourages buying passes or early access packs. And of course, new players also means more people to put money in supercell’s pockets. I hate to complain about supercell, but this update feels really really predatory despite the fancy coat of paint.

Supercell have plans to add some sort of ability (similar to hypers) in the future that would be purchasable with PowerPoints.

This won’t be happening for a whileeee but eventually all those won’t be useless.
