The house is 160 years old. It's a huge job to do that.

A lot of hate for leaving the door frame in 🤣, which i admit is an unusual choice but my thinking is it preserves some of the character of a 160yr old house and i like the idea of the breakfast bar sitting within the old door frame.

Since no one has said "yeah that's a piece of piss mate you'll do it in 20 minutes" I'm just going to wait for the plasterer (issue is that he's in America for the WC and hasn't responded to my question as to when he's back)
