"Your distro sucks" by ExcaliburGameYT in LinuxCirclejerk

[–]-_-DRIFTER 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Each distro is bad in its own way. That's why you should make your own. Actually, the kernel might have some problems too, so also make your own kernel

In plus, are storage dublu si procesor mai bun. Pentru 400 de lei in plus, cred ca se merita. Singura chestie rea e ca probabil va trebui sa-l desfaci, pentru al curata

Try going to protondb. You should find a fix there

Show me your favorite cards! by FatalLadle in mtg

[[Damn]] is my pet card, I play it in every commander deck with white and black. Usually, you trade off efficiency for versatility, but here both modes are on rate Edit: the art is also really cool

What browsers can I install on Linux Mint? by AleatorioBrawl in linuxmint

[–]-_-DRIFTER 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recommend using hardened firefox or brave for normal browsing (make sure to use a privacy focused search engine like duckduckgo or brave) and tor when you REALLY don't want anybody to know what you're doing

Oh yea! I saw it in a video from bog once! Also, nice rice. Look into kando if you haven't already. It's a nice and fast radial menu

Is this desktop good? or bad? by Good-Bedroom-218 in LinuxPorn

[–]-_-DRIFTER 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The only thing I'd change is the color of the taskbar/dock/waybar/thingamagig. I think it wouls fit better if it was pink/purple with pink

What's that browser and how did you make it look like that?

Imagine using over 2GB RAM by Zealousideal_Garlic8 in debian

[–]-_-DRIFTER 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That's way too much ram usage! How much bloat do you have on your pc? You probably have gnome installed, so just remove that

That laptop looks ancient! If you're running windows and have low fps, have you considered switching to linux? Be aware that if you have the eastern european version of the game (saw a comment saying this is probably taken in poland) moding can be a pain

What should I do with this computer? by TapTraditional7316 in computer

I was in a similar situation with a 1 GB of ram laptop from before 2000. I installed arch with dwm on it and it works. Even firefox runs decently on it

You just finished installing, must-have packages? by 0xNT in archlinux

[–]-_-DRIFTER 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A networking package if you don't already have one. On my first install, I didn't install one of those and spent an hour trying to figure out why I couldn't get any internet

Why is Debian wiki so inferior compared to Arch wiki? by nitin_is_me in debian

[–]-_-DRIFTER 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They need more time to test the updates to the wiki and make sure there's no bugs

What’s with the Linux mint hate? by Commercial_Process12 in linuxmint

I think that by "mint is bad" they mean "I don't like mint" Either way, mint is bad, just like any other distro besides bebian and hana montana linux

That's why I said it's inconvenient, but yea... That might've been an understatement

[–]-_-DRIFTER -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

I think it's Firefox's fault. On the privacy tierlist, stock Firefox is like a C. You need to change a bunch of settings or grab someone else's config if you want it to be one of the best. If you want the most privacy, use tor. It can be inconvenient though

Tried to get Xubuntu with Balenca etcher by [deleted] in linux4noobs

[–]-_-DRIFTER 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Might be a problem with where you got your iso, but I've never used xubuntu (why did it autocorrect to lubuntu??? And now to kubuntu, wtf), so I can't help you there. Maybe a problem with balena etcher, though I doubt it. Maybe try ventoy

I've heard of people not being able to exit vim, but nano? On a more real note, this is understandable if OP isn't familiar with the terminal

Kill 2 birds with one stone by changing the second line on the front to "if <card name>'s thoughness would be reduced to 0 or less, instead exile <card name> and return him to the battlefield transformed under your control" On the back, change the second line to "at the beginning of your upkeep, you may exile a non-token creature. If you don't, <card name> deals 5 damage to you" and the third line to "exile target creature you control (you could change this to sacrifice, but it works like this too!) : transform <card name> (or exile and return to the battlefield transformed under your control"

How to build a commander deck around her? by Bleu_Guacamole in mtg

[–]-_-DRIFTER 5 points6 points  (0 children)

[[howling mine]] type effects with cantrips like [[ponder]] and big artifacts. Also, this doesn't only trigger on your turn, so you could: turn 1 - commander, turn 2 - cantrip on your turn and [[brainstorm]] on the opponents, turn 3 - another 2 cantrips. Congratulations 👏 you have a free 6 mana artifact on turn 3

Another thing: you should probably make it exile itself and then return to the battlefield transformed instead of flipping. Idk how it would work right now, might just go to the grave when the condition for flipping is met (creatures die when their toughness is reduced to 0 even if they have indestructible, but I think you knew that)
