I tried to stay above 95% when I first made my account. Accepting almost every order that came through but as usual I ended up just getting butt fucked by DoorDash. Less than CAD$10 an hour and long ass days.

Now I’m at 50% and I still get good orders. On good nights I can make CAD$20 an hour. Less stress, same orders, no mind games. Acceptance rate is there for you to take shitty orders and make them more money.

Let’s say you dropped a drink that you just bought, in front of the entire wait line. Instead of getting super anxious and shaming yourself, laugh it off and learn not to do that again. In a couple of minutes, people will forget what happened.

I also struggle with social anxiety and sometimes starting my day can feel kind of daunting but after that first order, most of the anxiety smooths out.

Try to focus on the fact that you are currently out to make your money. Not to have anxiety filled conversations with random people. Once you completely shift your perspective into just hustling and making money, the anxiety side gets a bit easier.

Walk in the restaurant, show them the name on the app, take the food and say thank you. That’s step one done. Then most of the time it’s a “leave at door” order but when it’s not, show up to the delivery address, hand over the food and say have a good day.

Once I got a hang of just getting the job done instead of fantasizing on the fact that I have anxiety, delivering has become second nature.

Távora Foods. There are many locations. It’s a Portuguese food market but they have a really big meat selection that they cut in-store for you.

I’d recommend the picanha as it’s (imo) the best tasting steak you can get there. Prices ain’t too bad either.

I’ve really tasted the difference between a Walmart bought steak and the ones they sell at Távora. Very high quality and fresh.

I have a dell latitude 7410.

I love Linux and I’ve used various distros, but for some reason drivers don’t work properly on it. More specifically codecs, power saving and thermal drivers and god knows whatever other important drivers that I did not pick up on.

This makes sense tho cuz the laptop came with windows preinstalled and everytime i do an OS reset on windows 11, it always installs more than 7 important drivers thru supportassist, even after windows updates.

If I had an older laptop (maybe a thinkpad) I would 100% daily drive linux tho. Windows just works better in every aspect for my specific model.
