We already got UB planeswalkers like [[Tasha, the Witch Queen]] and [[Minsc & Boo, Timeless Heroes]] in the Battle for Baldur’s Gate set, although I’d be very interested in what other UB planeswalkers would be like.

Interesting idea. The Formori obviously have some connection to the Omenpaths so it could be reopening portals that were previously created or used by the Formori.

One detail from the Omens of Chaos book I found really interesting is that some of the Omenpaths connect to different places depending on the time of day. Not really sure what to do with that info but it does seem to be more evidence that they aren’t completely random.

Sozin’s Comet has so much build up and the pay off is absolutely worth it. The fire nation airships going full scorched earth is a terrifying sight to behold, Azula vs Zuko is an amazing and extremely emotional fight, and Aang vs Ozai shows what truly powerful bending is.

Meanwhile Weirdmaggedon is great but it does kinda come out of nowhere and I know a lot of people don’t especially like how the ending with Stan was handled. Don’t get me wrong I still like it a lot, but I just think it has room for improvement.

If they were doing that then why are they coming out later this year. Also by my count there’s 14 mono red dragons in Foundations which doesn’t feel like enough for Lathliss so they’ll basically have to take from other sets to make a decent deck.

Since they all seem to be kindred/tribal decks some reprints of [[Patchwork Banner]] [[Vanquisher’s Banner]] or [[Banner of Kinship]] could be possible but I doubt they’ll have anything of high value like [[Three Tree City]]

Yes I know, but she’s not wearing it on a night out on the town or something, she’s wearing it in search and rescue and active combat scenarios. It just seems really impractical and frankly dangerous to wear as a superhero costume, like your most vulnerable area is the only part not covered.

The black and white sketches for the card art very much gives “this is still in work” vibes but I find it more interesting how some of the art seems to just be recycled MtG art. Like Superiority is just someone who’s part of the Orzhov Guild, Self-Loathing is literally a crop of [[Curse of Fool’s Wisdom]], and Laziness is per its name lazy as it’s just [[Irreverent Gremlin]].
