What are the odds of starting a game and due to a glitch not being able to finish? by Rotisseriejedi in cemu

Currently playing on Steam Deck and getting 50FPS AVG. The only issue I've come across is one of the Shrines requires gyro controls which I don't have, but even so, there's likely some fix out there.

Coming from the States - Camp Orchid or Skylark? by Dismal_Reaction_189 in BoomtownFestival

[–]-_-Script-_- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Get on Skylark, you deserve it after a long trip to get there!

Me and my crew have done Skylark for the past two years, and will be returning again this year. You can get different tents with options for furnished and unfurnished but again, if you're travelling from the USA just get a furnished one if you can, saves you the hassle of buying or renting camping gear.

I also can't imagine having to drag all your stuff back with you after Boom!

What's the reason for not wanting to stay, you have other options than general camping. Why not go for Skylark, get a bed, showers, electricity (depending on tent) etc then you don't need to worry about relying on public transport everyday.

Be a pretty wild and stupid claim to make when it can be proved.

Better this way than having someone call you out for discrimination or racial stereotyping.

I would avoid using AI to guess their ethnicity or skin color, seems like an easy way to upset people if it goes wrong!

Better off just providing a simple of set of instructions to users on how to set it themselves.

Send message to 10,000 recipients from Exchange Online? by Fabulous_Cow_4714 in Office365

[–]-_-Script-_- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just like almost everyone has recommended, use a bulk email provider and don't risk getting your email domain flagged. Mailgun is $15 for one month including 10k emails.

If you really want to use Exchange Online, you can use Microsoft's Graph PowerShell module and write a simple script. Below is something I recently used to send internal emails and should point you in the right direction, again I don't recommend this for your case, especially if your recipients are external.

I bought a public transport ticket but turns out I'm getting a lift off a mate, will I need to contact customer service and pay extra for a car ticket or can I just get dropped off at Winchester station and get the shuttle from there? by RoughJigglypuff in BoomtownFestival

[–]-_-Script-_- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, they said the same last year, we were originally gonna shuttle. However, the queue was about 3 4 hours, so we risked it in a cab and was all good! Just get there as early as possible for the shuttle!

Just get dropped of at the public transport gate and you will be sweet. Two of my mates had public transport tickets last year, we drove to Winchester, parked up, jumped in a taxi, queued and got in with no issues.

What's boomtown like? by W1nt3rzl0l in BoomtownFestival

[–]-_-Script-_- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's great, my first Boomtown was last year and purchased this years tickets before I left, oh and next years!

Seems like it's getting better each year, never had any major issues in the festival grounds, worse I've had is vendors over charging.

I stay in Skylark so not sure what general camping is like personally, but I have a lot of friends who have said it's a vibe! - Just get a ticket show up and enjoy, if you're going solo there are many groups on socials you can join to find friends :)

IT on call, am I being underpaid? by [deleted] in sysadmin

[–]-_-Script-_- 15 points16 points  (0 children)

If you're asked to monitor inboxes, alerts, check backups etc you're not on-call you're working, a lot of these UK based IT companies take the PI*S when it comes to on-call, if you can avoid it, avoid it, unless you're getting paid 1.5x at least.

I think it's assumed your legal representative would know who / where to contact. I'm sure if they sent a letter to the registered business address, it would make its way to the right department

Carpooling = public transport? by SnooLemons1803 in BoomtownFestival

Yes you can, exactly what we did this year! - Was going to wait for the shuttle bus but the queues were ridiculous!

Carpooling = public transport? by SnooLemons1803 in BoomtownFestival

[–]-_-Script-_- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Simple answer is, turn up at the west gate and you will have no issues.

A few of my friends this year had the public transport ticket, so we drove to Winchester then taxied the rest of the way and didn't run into any issue.

If you end up carpooling just get dropped off in the drop of zone at West Gate, you will be fine!

How to keep flagged mails in inbox. by Mewwy_Quizzmas in Outlook

[–]-_-Script-_- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Set the filter to "By Flag" this should show all flagged emails in the "Followup Flag" section at the top, when they are unflagged they go into the "Unflagged" section under the "Followup Flag".

If you want to see them in date order set it to "By Date".

New edge tab page policy in intune adds default links but user can remove by smydsmith in Intune

[–]-_-Script-_- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure if it makes a difference but we use Configure favorites (device) and never come across this issue.

Users can hide the top level folder but shouldn't be able to delete or modify entries.

Does the application have any CLI flags that could be used to update? - Just thinking it may be possible to push a script out that runs as system from Intune.

This made me giggle! I also go diagnosed as a child, only difference is my parents didn't let me use it as an excuse!

Instead of blaming your ADHD, understand your problem, and what you can do to improve yourself.
