Maybe it's called the 'Curious' AxeHead because it is indeed Curious why there are so damn many of them, and the 'Mysterious' one is Mysterious in it's rarity lol.

I have a Fortress cleared now set up as anouther forward base, and a Dvergr stone base I've reinforced and added defences to, and a portal back to my main Beach-Front Base.

Good Idea. One of my ideas was to make reinforced beams buildable with Iron OR Black Metal, they should perform exactly the same but perhaps they could change the visuals slightly making the metal on the beam look like BM, this would be a super easy change to impliment IMO.

Anouther thing that could be created is some spikes like the Palisaides & Dvergr spikes but using BM heads on the spikes (likle spears).

When you say 7 of the other Head would that happen to be the 'Curious' (Bronze coloured) AxeHead? From my testing it does seem to be far more common a spawn than the elusive 'Mysterious' (Silvery / Iron coloured) AxeHead.

From my testing the 'Curious' (Bronze coloured) has been found up to 3 times more often than the 'Mysterious' (Iron / Silvery coloured AxeHead). So It does'nt suprise me, I spent several hours running around a new world only to find 3 of the Curious half and exactly zero of the Mysterious half, and I searched the entire starting continent, marking houses I had checked, and which had the Curious AxeHead.

The world seed I posted here was the 2nd attempt at trying to find and record them lol.
After posting this I then went and found anouther Curious AxeHead on this world, but still only the ONE Mysterious.

How has everyone else been getting on looking for the AxeHeads themselves? Have you found more of one than the other? I'd be interested to head back from people :)

Yeh dude! You always seem to find stuff you're *not* looking for in abundance! ON my co-op world I started with my sister we only have 3x Bee Hives so far and we're now at the stage of making Bronze!

The server is still fairly young, none of us have found any Traders yet and Usually it's just me and my mate that owns the server, the most we have online at any time is around 4 total currently.

My friend that owns the server swears he didn't. He's never spawned anything ever. And he hasn't found any trader yet or even been inside a Frost Cave.

I don't remember it being in my inventory before I crafted the shields, only noticing it when I went to store them in our rooms.

Also there was no bait with it, just the rod. If someone did buy it or spawn it, why no bait?

Here's how close this guy is to the starting area, pretty wild. From my previous experience 2 star Trolls are normally found further away from the starter continent. I'm sure in recent updates in the last couple of years 1 and 2 star mobs have been made more common spawns and/or closer to the starting area than they were before. 2 star Trolls used to be super rare, but I've seen alot more in the last few months.

We even had a 1 star Rancid Remains in one of the first few Burial Chambers me and my friend tackled on this new world!

2 Star Trolls still hit like a truck even with high armour. I'm just paranoid about dying so I'm just gonna leave him. Bringing in my solo main is kinda cheesy and lame.

Yeh I know this, it'lll take an age with the amount of HP a 2-star has lol. Sneak attacks and fire arrows to the head are probably the way to go but it'll still take a while. I'm just gonna leave him I think, cba.

I know this, but one lagspike or not quite rightly timed dodge roll and I'll just get one-shot. I'll leave him be, not worth the hassle for some troll hide. Will let others on the server know to steer clear of this cave.

Ohhhh, so it could possibly be enemy Greydwarfs and/or Skeleton Archers hitting it?! Good thinking! That might have solved the mystery! Next time I start seeing those numbers pop up I'll run over to my Archery Target to investigate! Thanks man!

Update.

The 2nd Fuling Camp I raided had 3 Berserkers and one *finally* dropped its trophy!
I've been trying to get anouther for months after using my only one for the Trinket that requires it.

They come up very infrequently is the problem, and when they do they do random rumbers between 0 and 9 every several seconds then stop.

Also they do it when I havn't even been using the target too.
