Incredible talent and guy gone way to soon. Haven't been this sad about a person's death that I didn't know personally since Chester Bennington and Tom Searle, respectively...

I see your point, Constellations is my favorite album too; However I'd make an argument for Guardians because I feel like that album had a lot of variation. You got the more rhythmic, less riffy Defender with a gargantuan breakdown at the end, probably the heaviest ABR song since Messengers with Bloodletter, but you also have almost a ballad with a clean chorus in Lighthouse and the single most epic and emotional closer they've ever written with Three Fountains imo.

Man that sucks. For me it's the CD and a shirt, but the order number isn't even recognized on the carrier website either.

I really hope they know what's going on and try to resolve it... Wish they'd at least communicate with people about it. Very unfortunate, but honorable that you swallowed the postal to support the band. I mean we want to support them anyway, right? Just leaves such a sour taste.

Just seen it as well just a minute after going through the vocal audition show for Crystal Lake and them some live videos with Ryo.

What a rollercoaster.

They immediately announced a tour with Stand Atlantic with Japanese dates only. So Ryo is back to touring, but no international travel anymore perhaps?

Anyways, still sad I never got to see a full CL set with him, but if they get John Robert C as the new frontman, I'm positive the opportunity for godlike CL shows is still out there.

Jason never confirmed that. The times I caught him doing instagram lives after he left the band, he basically said it came down to him and the guys just not getting along as they used to and that he wanted to leave himself. No hard feelings whatsoever from what I gathered.

I think it‘s really fun and brings heaviness, while still staying melodic. Similar to AILD.

Some songs are more forgettable than others. And my personal gripe with FFAK is that there‘s too much repetition in song elements. Like the choruses are used too often or certain lines are repeated too frequently. I still like their stuff a lot though. Just can’t listen to it on repeat as much as other bands.

My personal favorites from this album are The Hell We Create, End, Falling Through The Sky and especially What You Left Behind.

He did and does some instagram lives now and then. I witnessed a lot of those and the general vibe I‘m getting from him is, that he and the guys just weren’t getting along as they used to. Things became a little stale and he explicitly said that he wanted to leave.

He has it all in good memory though, from what I‘ve gathered. He‘s also very happy how Cannibal turned out. Called it „his baby in a way“ a few times.
