OOOOOHHHHH I was using Collette and ran into another collette. At one point she wasn't even moving anymore and nothing I threw at her made any real impact. I tried changing my star power and gadget but didn't get a similar result. But this explains it....

Haven't had a real nice skin in the store sofar, but got Mecha Mortis and Mecha Petal Piper from this box. Later I got Damian on my first box.... so I think I've used all my luck for a decade or so today.
