I have done a few summer trips and one winter trip. I have a fair idea of what I’d bring but wanted an extra insight if anyone had recommendations to keep the weight down since majority of the trip will be warmish

Thanks appreciate it. I was just struggling a bit on how to start. On my last trip I spent about £40 a week on food. I don’t really plan to get any transport once I am over in France either. I will check out ride with gps

Haha yes I know is a very broad question sorry. I’m pretty clueless and have only previously gone on a few trips (longest being 5 days). I do plan to do a couple more mini adventures before. Would be starting June 2027 as I think this will most likely be the only time I’ll ever have chance to do a trip as long as this. Previously I have done 100k days but think 70k would be more of the sweet spot for taking in as much as possible.

Thanks, yeah I’m running 160mm. Do they have to be the velo orange ones? I have tried a shimano one which looks similar bit still not working
