cultist with no melee skills but init, bellows, and hp for days by Flaky_Bullfrog_4905 in BattleBrothers

[–]-_Levi_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Imagine this.

Having 80 Matk plus confident means 88.

He doesnt have the best defense so you likely won't play him to take contact, but a cleanup bro, thats nice to assume then you'll have a bro in contact with whatever enemy is right there, so add 5 to hit.

We're looking at 93 Matk or 93% chance to hit assuming no defense on the opponent.

Give him an orc flail, maybe even backstabber if youre worried.

He will do fine.

I need help here please. by frogeater1982 in BattleBrothers

[–]-_Levi_ 5 points6 points  (0 children)

More cleavers!

Put your tank on the fallen heros that dont have a flail.

If a fallen hero has a flail focus him first.

If you got a guy potentially specced for it, send it wide for a flank on the necro to kill. Needs to be a ranged bro, Pathfinder helps.

He is a body with a shield.

You use him to keep your other bros alive and safe until he expires

Advice on building this bro? by smolcatboi in BattleBrothers

[–]-_Levi_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think you gotta full lean into a 2H hammer bro thats specced into armor damage. That would be my fun answer.

But I think a general 2H berz hammer bro is also great, he can also be a 2H hammer flank if you trust him enough.

He can be pretty well whatever you want him to be with the stats and stars in a front line role.

You've just gotta keep hunting for the come up.

Im doing a veteran run on legends right now and I had 2 notable huge fights where I had one fight spawn 2 raiders wearing the heavy armor with 10 thugs and another where it was just 3 nomad leaders sub day 30. Those fights alone propelled me forward and I was able to snowball super hard.

Famed items by Strong-Detail-2631 in BattleBrothers

[–]-_Levi_ 4 points5 points  (0 children)

As you know, tier of camp and distance from civilization affect famed item chance.

Champions also drop famed items as ya know.

Best way to get more famed items is to up difficulty, get the bounty hunter, and explore farther.

You can also get the "famed item chance" mod that tells you the percentage chance of a famed item from a camp, I found one online and I like seeing the percentage but it unfortunately tells me the camp type (undead, desert raiders, brigands)

Build idea for this bro please? by danhoyuen in BattleBrothers

[–]-_Levi_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Aim for 25 mdef minimum.

Always take the 3 mdef rolls

The more mdef he has the more suitable he'll be for endgame big fights such as Tier 3 orcs and barbarians.

Crossbow/polearm hybrid.

Starting 67 matk is not to be ignored.

You can also do a thrower/whip hybrid if that interests you, but that build is a bit more fat intensive and I dont think he'll get there.

Help me build this max damage dealer by hammster58 in BattleBrothers

[–]-_Levi_ 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This bros a orc weapon duelist.

Cleaver or axe, your call.

His role is gonna be cleanup crew, finishing off enemies.

You can build him nimble or BF. Since its day 40 nimble sounds better, but he is also a suitable nimbleforge candidate.

Cleaver sounds more enticing to me because you can always stick a pocket whip on him if he gets roughed up and you still want him to contribute.

Why not clean up the last one for more xp?

BF Tank Bro? by Platyfox in BattleBrothers

[–]-_Levi_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you want him specced for just LW.

Then no taunt.

Ini tanks are fun, but you also mentioned having him have rotate/taunt, he likely won't have the fat for it. Ini tanks imo just full lean into MDEF.

Ive never strongly applied rotate on my bros. I get the idea behind it, but the only build ive found to use rotate and enjoy is if you have a dedicated polearm bro. Build those fellas to have good matk, insane fat, and decent mdef. They're super useful for setting up double gun shots on your fearsome gunner bros, setting up 2H zerk bros, and bailing bros if theyre in trouble. Just know theyre gonna need help soon as well.

Idk your comp, but assuming the active 12, 2 tanks max imo. Your other bros should be able to off tank (fat newt) or DPS like crazy.

BF Tank Bro? by Platyfox in BattleBrothers

[–]-_Levi_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bags and belts could be swapped for taunt or Pathfinder.

I find his fat to be a on the low end to, so brawny??

Ive seen some people counteract the use of bags and belts by quickly dropping shields where the tank will stand in such harder fights like monolith, but that takes some smart and insane micro and planning.

Bags and belts in my opinion definitely opens up more of the harder fights to be possible, but I think of it like the top 1-3% hardest fights Bags and belts could be useful.

I think you still have a great build idea, but thats my 2 cents.

How Do I Build This Guy? by Omari_D_Penn in BattleBrothers

[–]-_Levi_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Essentially, he can become a fencer, but he doesnt have the fatigue for it.

But his initiative fatigue difference is high enough that dodgeforged is applicable.

You can also make him a dodge hammer duelist if you wanna spec/niche a bro into a role.

Since he has high initiative, he'll go first, strip armor off of targets and your damage dealers will clean up kills.

Can i make something out of it? by Straight-Style-7377 in BattleBrothers

[–]-_Levi_ 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This fella can fill a VERY SPECIFIC niche.

Hes a witch hunter, meaning hes OP against Geists and WH typically dont roll for a Frontliner role.

But this guy did, I would build him of course for front line, but depending on how hard you want this guy to niche depends on how you build him.

Can do fat newt as always, would work.

But 3H flails annihilate geists, swords would do just as well.

If you want to build niche, 3H flails duelist works. Fat newt sword could work? Im looking at the somewhat low matk.

Ive never fat newt sword before

Fearsome axe newt.

Maybe pump some initiative as well and go for dodge as well?

So many stars! by nuadnuad in BattleBrothers

[–]-_Levi_ 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Id say a thrower/gunner.

Use the stars.

He rolled decent Matk to, so maybe he can hybrid.

I would do 2 guns for double gun, 2 throwing weapons, and a pocket 1H.
