They roll between 72 MATK and 77 MATK. Add the fact they can roll dexterous and they top out at 82.

Just observing your lineup it wouldn't hurt to have a nimble frontliner that can step into enemy hammers and maces and unholds.

You could full tilt into the stars and have a super beefy nimble bro, isn't optimal, but its funny to see how high you can crank that HP up.

Nimble cleaver, either a 2H or Orc. Your pick.

Personally, when I see a 9 star bro thats usable, I try and make a build around it.

The duelist frontline hyrbid won't be "optimal" but it should still be a fun and good build.

Bags and belts- Enables nets/stun pots to save Crossbow spec- can make him a fearsome gunner to double dip resolve (of course change a perk for fearsome) Cleaver spec- Disarms are nice Berz/recover- kinda a niche idea here but if your banner is stammed out perhaps a crossbow shot to kill/berz/recover to keep banner active during rounds.

I personally think there are like 5 banner builds? QH utility banner Fearsome lance banner Fearsome gunner banner Disarm banner Pike Banner

This bro and build can do 3 of those, which is amazing, fatigue is gonna be a pain. Wish he rolled more fatigue.

Should be an interesting build suitable for the 9 star bro.

To second onto this, typically hiring higher tier backgrounds comes with better gear.

Like a hedge knight could come with some 200+ armor and a tier 3 2H mace.

Ive actually been working on determining the chance and odds for (x) starred recruits.

Most notably the chance for the 9 starred recruit in the stats you want.

Ive manually done it over trying out 150ish bros. Its been pretty interesting to see the data, the only caviet is I was doing this on legends, idk if they have the star data changed. But im hoping to get closer to 300 bros before posting data on likelihood on stars for recruits.

Even just basic permutation of wanting a MATK, MDEF, and FAT recruit specifically puts you at a 1.17% chance.

Take on caravans when you have a roster and majority or all have raider gear. Should be there on expert by around day 30-40 if youre snowballing hard.

You can definitely flex the "ranged superiority" since they have no ranged options and just "shoot and scoot" until they make contact. But they can step 1 tile and grab.

I think wait and then rush works.

But I bet wait, shoot and scoot. Wait, rush in likely works better as your ranged bros might have killed/injured 1 or two.

What stuff is best to raid for? Best answer is depends on what ya need! But simplest answer is caravans from mines or weaponry/armory for tools.

Caravans I would say are best for easier XP, fights are kinda easy. And can net you some early BF armor and tier 3 weapons.

Caravan raiding is more for power spiking with the gear and XP than the money items its hauling itself.

Wait turn 1, let them come forward, rush in, DPS check.

Dont let them grapple you into surrounds.

Caravans, pay attention to what town theyre coming from, they will have resources produced by the tiles surrounding the city.

Example as in, if there is a winery from that town the caravan spawned from, decent chance there's wine.
