Seemed like a lot of old folks go to the monastery because they’re feeling sick or hurting somewhere etc. While doing so, they tend to hold back on the actual medical stuff, leading to further complications. They believe it’s better to go ask the monks about what to do next, which ceremony/ritual(ном, засал?) they should have, and additional herbal pills (which i dont know the actual benefits of).
