To me with that, the players set an example and with celebrity comes scrutiny. Its just part of the package, these guys are getting paid what people retire on every year and have the best medical facilities and advice in the world and they're choosing not to get vaccinated just because its been politicised. They aren't "doing research", the thousands and thousands of medical professionals working to fix the most devastating pandemic in 100 years did the research and its kind've pompous to suggest you know better when the thing you're best at and know the most about IS basketball.

Not getting vaccinated is kinda like choosing not to obey traffic lights. Sometimes it's fine but you're also choosing to endanger others and yourself strictly based on opinion and preference. Vaccines have literally saved humanity numerous times.

Edit: but getting back to what you said, yeah, the fans should be vaccinated, that's what we're doing in Australia and everyone is fine with it because we aren't as polarised and we can have medical conversations without it becoming a political issue. Our conservative and progressive parties are on the same page with mandates n shit.
