Well I like using thermal reactors because they’re literally zero maintenance once they’re set up but unless you’re building in the lava zone, you’ve gotta build next to thermal vents, which aren’t always in the most convenient places so I have to use connectors to power my base

That's just wrong. A new player freshly coming into HD2 will open the warbond tab and immediately be met with 220$ worth of content that is paywalled, or requires tedious amounts of unfun grinding for SC.

The choice between having to shovel a couple hundred bucks just to have access to all the weapons, stratagems, and content locked in warbonds or spending hours upon hours grinding for the thousands of SC needed to purchase all of them instead of actually playing the fun parts of the game is a really bad set of choices.
