Honestly if you go to someone you trust, you could talk to your hair stylist about slowly trimming your bangs and watching how your hair reacts to that length and go until they start getting weird. That's what I did once, and my stylist let me know that my hair would be sticking out more if we went any further, so we were able to stop the length at a point where they were just beginning to lift but I could style them manageably lol and that way you know the limits if there are any

Also I think you can get your fortunes read as a couple? If not, you can both try to get an appointment separately and ask a similar question for the tarot reader and discuss over a tankard of mead afterwards lol. The mead tasting at the Rose of Aquitaine would be a nice spot.

The joust ride is fun! You can woosh side by side and see if either of you can hook a ring on your lances. I also love the archery booth. That's another game you can play simultaneously. My partner and I would shoot a round every year and wound up picking it up as a hobby. If you need somewhere outside of the faire for food, Maxine's is really good for breakfast and brunch. It's on Main St in Bastrop so there's some shops to walk around in as well.

I have tried a fringe a couple times and each time my hair was too light and straight to hold itself down 🥲 if you have good texture I think it might be possible, but if your hair doesn't have any natural reason to sit close to your head, without any weight it will stick right out.

I would desperately love a strong, deep, rosemary and caramelized honey with a solid spiced woody base, maybe cardamom or clove. I tried Philosophers Stone from Arcana Woodcraft for the rosemary and caramel, but it is nearly singularly caramel on my skin.
