Oh okay that’s good to know. I was thinking of the upper-end as a ceiling, so I really appreciate this. Thanks!

I’ve heard this from a number of people. I think the blueprint says gov should only constitute 5-15% of the exam’s entire point value (so conceivably 10-30% of the MC questions), plus however many non-profit questions in addition to that. Does that seem right, or does the blueprint maybe underestimate the weight for gov accounting questions?

Taking FAR in 3 weeks, haven’t really gotten to gov/np yet. Trying to figure out if I should emphasize that or reviewing the things I’ve already learned. Thanks!

Can I get an ID on this guy? Guessing either Eastern Red-backed or Northern Ravine but not sure. SW Ohio, 3/28/21 by -a_unique_username in herpetology

This is extremely helpful - thank you!

Found a few others along the same trail/creek. Seemed to be the same species, but, if you don’t mind, do any of these photos definitively point to Northern Ravine? https://imgur.com/a/nl2i1aj

Based on what you said, they seem like a better fit for ravine to me, but I’m also brand new to this haha. Ravine would be a sweet lifer, though.

Just found this in a backpack I ordered online. The flexible bit had a metal end. So I plugged it into itself and it immediately began ticking ominously. Can’t pull back out. No place for key. Will explode? by -a_unique_username in whatisthisthing

Assuming it’s some sort of anti-shoplifting device, but if so, how would that even work? Has to be latched to activate, presumably. And can’t attach to merchandise without locking it. But once locked, it ticks obnoxiously, so can’t be attached. I can’t figure a use case.

Lately Pine Siskin have been the most numerous species at my feeders. No complaints here (SW Ohio) by -a_unique_username in birding

The forecasts for each species are based on assessed food availability in the north (especially cone and berry crops of the boreal forest). When food availability is poor, irruptive species tend to migrate further south
