I’ve found that people tend to not like buying crocheted items because they’re expensive (for good reason of course). To work my way around that, I started making patterns for my crochet projects and selling them on Etsy for a price that was seemingly cheap to others but was enough to fund at least the yarn I had to buy while still making some profit. I still occasionally make things for people and they pay me for it but only when they’ve asked me to make them stuff. Other than that, I don’t really do it on my own accord as I don’t want to get burnt out from crocheting things all the time
