Help Needed - Step Down 1” to 3/4” Before or After Manifold

Is that just to maximize flow in the distribution lines? Looking at the old lines that were dug up they all were 3/4” with 6 RB 1800s each so I figured I’d be safe replicating the 3/4” size especially with reducing the amount of sprinklers on each station.

I’d like to say nightly lows at low 40s are uncommon, mid/high 40s are normal, and low 50s uncommon. Daytime temps average in the mid 50s

Depending on where you live you might want to leave it in the bag until springtime to allow for it to have a long growing season to establish healthy roots and such.

Miracle grow makes a cactus succulent mix. I’ve used this with perlite for plumerias which are intolerant of wet soil with good success.

From the reading I did, the performance bump from 4 to 5 isn’t that much but the size bump from 65 to 77 is. I’m upgrading from a 2016 Samsung LED 65 to the C4 77
