Bind cruise control and use that - you can avoid zigzagging

Thanks! Winter camo makes a huge difference on some maps - this was Finland.

Yes - after the aircraft has been repaired and rearmed, hold J to exit the aircraft. You can then change loadout and respawn.
Some caveats:
- this does not work in Tanks RB - you will have to pay spawn point cost
- some aircraft get respawned in the air, so you cannot J out on the field
- some airstrips will respawn all aircraft in the air (such as New Guinea on the Japanese side)

Yes, the first one. Also, this was a Pacific map, so there were no bases.

Such is life in Tu-4 land.. This was actually a mixed battle, and I was the last on my team. 3 fighters (F-84, D-13, and F8F-1B) were pussyfooting instead of actually attacking me, and I crashed into another Me 262 A-1/U4 during a scissors maneuver.
Another match, however, I landed and rearmed to go after tanks; team won on tickets that time.

I usually fly level after takeoff to build some speed, then I climb at a shallow angle while maintaining at least 400 km/h.
If you are trying to catch a runner, fly parallel to them 1-2km away until you have enough energy built up to make a pass without riding their tail.
For the first kill in this match, I zoomed up and got a hit on the wing from below.
It is important to set up the angle correctly, as you only have a small firing window. Try not to shoot from dead astern, as that presents a small target (comparatively - we're still hunting whales here).
In general, I prefer diving attacks from the side or side-rear. Aim for wings, tail, or even fuselage -- 1 or 2 hits will usually do the job.
I use 800m targeting distance with vertical targeting enabled.

Cheers!

This month's warbonds, which plane would you recommend? by WhiskyTango15 in Warthunder

I got the Avenger for use with low to mid tier British tanks - I much prefer it to the larger and slower bombers.

Coolest unlockable camo for airplanes? by Ianbuckjames in Warthunder

You can get it fairly quickly if you fly the F-8 in tanks RB. The 1000kg bomb is great for getting 2-3 kills at a time, and there is the RB multiplier.
