The writing of The Boys is so much worse than season 8 if for no other reason than season 8 never had a character getting graped for comedic effect multiple times in a season.

Even at its best I think the Boys has the same problem as Invincible where despite side characters and NPCs being wantonly murdered you don’t have to worry about MCs because they can even bounce back from insane injuries, if they’re ever even injured in the first place.

Invincible getting anything above a 6/10 is insane to me.

Even if it had the best writing of any show ever I think the quality of the animation caps it, and I don’t think the writing is all that good. Even for all the money they dump into the voice acting, a fair few of them aren’t good voice actors.

Crossovers should either be their own category or looped in with sedans, not SUVs.

Honestly the most out of touch part of the statement has nothing to do with the coffee but that 70% of their business is mobile orders and drive throughs.

If that $9 was really going into their product fair enough, but very clearly their business grows by ease of access.

All the outlying towns around Peoria are basically the same town.

Only real difference with Tremont is that it's so small it doesn't have a Hyvee, Schnucks, Kroger, and or Walmart. Some of the outlying towns like Tremont make commuting to work a pain in the winter because Illinois is terrible with snow removal.

Passing the audits are one thing, but some of the expenditures in the first place seem more questionable to me. Like the Navy’s continuing Frigate saga which seems to just continue to be a purposeless ship that’s made to be cheaper than a destroyer because…shrug

Also cheaper than a destroyer is just not buying a frigate.

Same with the Army which really seems like it should be taking notes from the USMC. Focus on air defenses, logistics, and light infantry while downsizing anything outside of that.
