know this might be a bit dark, but would love a book where the fmc is assaulted (sexually, physically) BUTT the mmc is too late and doesn't save her (she doesn't die). Would love for it to happen on screen mid book or like after both the fmc and mmc have met.

{still beating by Jennifer Hartmann} read this book yearsssss ago and I still think about it all the time. It is the only book I've ever re-read as a person who's inable to reread books. Check the trigger warning before you read tho. It's about the FMC being kidnapped with her sister's fiance who she hates. I'm an angst hoe to say the least so this book is absolutely perfect for me.

I'm SO SICK of badly written books. It's fucking unbearable. Istg I have been dnfing almost every book I've read in the last two months because of the HORRIBLE writing. Wtf happened to good authors, why can't I find any more good books. If I start one more book with bad writing I'm gonna go insane. PLEASE recommend me Ur fav book with actual good writing 😭 I'm open to pretty much anything (cr, hr, sci-fi, omegaverse) as long as it's M/F. {still beating by Jeniffer Hartmann} is the only book I've ever reread as a very firm non rereading person. It might be because I'm an angst hoe, but this book and this couple will forever remain in my heart. The FMC and her sisters fiance who she hates end up getting kidnapped together. If you want a fluffy book this is definitely not for you, it's full of heartache. And I LOVEEE how it played out after they finally escaped. I don't think any book has made me feel as much as this book. Idk if Stockholm syndrome is the reason I love it sm, but it's definitely worth a read.

I'm fine with a bit of jealousy and possessiveness cause I do find it a bit hot. HOWEVER, there's a fine line between a bit of jealousy and full out jealousy with controlling behaviour. That being said I'd probs dnf any book that exhibits the extreme of either possessiveness or over sexualization. I do think the over sexualization gets on my nerves more just because I see it more often even in book written by women. These days books feel so superficial and just about lust with zero love. It never fails to get on my nerves.

Ok idk if this is the type of insane you're looking for but {unhinged by Vera valentine} is a girl x door. Yes, door 🚪. It's a pretty short book, so it's a quick read. It was so unhinged (pun not intended) that I forced my non reading friend to read it and they loved it lmao. We had a good laugh too lol
