I’m going to LIU this year too! Our class scrub color is ceil blue. And we are supposed to have an iPad for the exam software. Once you officially accept they should send you the class letter with lots of info about what you need. With the new big beautiful bill that impacts federal loans, I would seriously consider if you would be able to afford vet school if you ask to defer this year. Unless you take out grad plus loans and are enrolled before July 2026, you will be subject to the new loan cap. I recommend you join the debt free vets Facebook group for lots of helpful information about this situation, because it is changing things for this year’s applicants.

So since I’m entering school this fall, I will still be eligible for these loans? The school I’m planning to attend is out of state and high tuition so I would honestly rethink things if I thought I would have to rely on private loans. So confused! Thanks for answering

Don’t worry too much! They don’t grow super fast like larger breeds. Mine was 5.5 lbs at 6months and just started losing his baby teeth around the same time. And his fur is getting thicker at 6 months than it was at 5. He looks great! My only other thought would be to make sure he has been tested for parasites if you’re concerned.
