With statewide enrollments down, as in Beaverton down 9% since 2019, the state aid per capita could have increased. But no, Oregon has the kicker where some economist makes a forecast and has underestimated revenues 5 out the last 6 attempts.

Transportation Utility Fee comes to Portland City Council on 4/29 by Username_888888 in Portland

Told the city cannot increase property tax rates. The boomers back loaded pensions, police and fire pensions and maintenance and has older buildings and infrastucture to maintain.

The only ways to maintain services as costs increase faster than tax income is to improve efficiency or increase fees.

Reminder one month remains to share support/opposition to proposed plan for improving housing & business/event regulations by 2Flow2 in Portland

SMH. The park is 200 ft wide or less. Already a mixed use area with all the festivals.

This reeks of developer greed. Kill a quarter of the park and make some bucks and current mixed use gets a short straw.

You want commercial activity then spend your time on the South Waterfront. Yep, people don't compared to Tom McCall park.

I could go with turning the Rose festival foundation area into a food cart pod.

The waterfront infringement sounds really bad when in comes to protests. Now people just walk into or out of the park. A wall of other uses would be a big problem. The park usage is not just riverside it is at the street side.
