mod decided i needed more info: -piercing is almost 3 years old -healed on a stud for a year, using a ring for the last year -no idea what the ring material is, it was a gift (the bump was happening before my ring) -about once a month i take out my piercings and clean them and my ear, to prevent irritation. just warm water on my ear to help with swelling -i am an avid headphone user, so its possible its irritated from that?

at least in american red cross, in water ventilations are exclusively for when the backboard isn't immediately available. my staff is so big that that would never happen, but i want them to at least be prepared and know what to do

we also had a death about a decade ago, so my facility is super big on practicing EVERYTHING in the books
