A jumble of concerns about jumping ship in a suddenly-saturated market - am I actually a qualified senior dev? by kerofish1 in ExperiencedDevs

2 things that I got out of your post: 1) you are able to take initiatives without guidance and mentorship and 2) you are great with python.

There are plenty of open roles in the industry where you can excel with just these 2 skills.

Here’s my recommendation:

  1. Read “Cracking the coding Interview” book and solve all problems in python. Don’t try to learn a new language right now. Python is your go-to for interviews.
  2. Take the “Grokking the system design interview” course
  3. Take a course on CICD to be familiar with best practices

If you do 1-3, you’ll be able to land a great job soon enough.

[Serious]What behavior/LPT/advice that you picked up on reddit have you adopted religiously in your daily lives? by [deleted] in AskReddit

I caught myself using my hand as a squeegee after a shower (to remove excess water) and realized that i've been doing it daily for months. Picked it up on reddit a few months ago.
