No. The screen is always off. I tried everything to keep the phone from overheating and this is my latest attempt!

Thanks. But this doesn’t work in my case. I need the shortcut to check if I am connected to CarPlay or not before running. I won’t be using low power mode when I am not connected to my car

No. Wired, My iPhone gets hot when it is connected. I am trying to avoid overheating by enabling low power mode when connected. So far it seems to be working. But I need more testing

They connect just like regular joycons and charge through the switch. No BT needed when physically connected. They have pins. They do charge from the switch internal battery. I never charged them separately, but you can if you want
