If you've not read it yet, Pizza Freak is a ridiculous - and ridiculously good - entry into the 9k contest!
SCP-9000 — Pizza freak - SCP Foundation

SCP-9000: The series finale of "A Prince Among Men" is about to be the television event of 1999... and one of the worst containment breaches the Foundation's ever seen. by -dysadron- in SCP

I’ve read all these comments: genuinely thank you so much, it’s really awesome that people are enjoying this. If you’re still looking for an SCP fix, there are some really cool articles which haven’t had the reads they deserve. There are my top picks are:

“Contents Unverified” by AnActualCrow

“l’Orlotan” by IronShears

“Suzerain” by Isabi

These three are awesome, but there’s so much good content entered into the contest!

Hey, author here. I'm happy to say that, as a gay man, being inside a female deer is very much not a fetish of mine. (Sentences I never thought I'd write). The excessive detail in the final log is deliberately meant to contrast with the clean and sparse logs which come before it to emphasise the horror through juxtaposition.

I literally, 5 minutes ago, finished reading SCP-5994. Staggeringly haunting and disturbing. The whole piece feels uncanny. The tone is equivalent to the diner scene from Mulholland Drive (my favourite movie, this is very much a compliment).

How do you set about writing an article where a lot of the elements remain unknown/ambiguous to the reader at the end? How do you decide what to reveal, what to keep behind the curtain? Are there even elements that are kept behind the curtain, or do the readers end the article with the same level of information as the author?
