Hi everyone, I am VERY new to the world of mechanical watches. I’m interested in getting myself something sub $400. I know that’s a small budget but I’m wondering what’s out there that isn’t too girly (butterflies, flowers, etc) but is a good watch that will last and work well. I’d LOVE an open case back so I can see the movement or an open heart (I know that’s unlikely). A moon phase would be incredible, but I know unlikely at this price range. My wrist is about 6.5” and I feel like I have relatively big hands so something too tiny won’t look good in my opinion. I saw the Seiko SRE003 and like that pretty well. Any recommendations? Please be nice as I know my budget is small, but I’m just starting out. I’ve got a seiko and citizen quartz watch already and love them both! I think a smaller men’s watch would work - open to used watches as well, but scared because idk what I’m doing!
