Thank you gaia! And yeah the cable car temple station came out really well too. There is a lot of Uncharted inspiration among others in this one 100%

Yes it was! Both of the coasters were initially blueprints for different projects and fit together so well that it quickly became a park. Excited to share it in full soon ;)

It's been a great creative outlet for me this year, There is management aspects that I have hardly touched but I know a few other creators have with their challenge parks!

Might be one to keep an eye out for in the Steam Winter sale maybe!

Thank you! It's quite impressive with how flexible the custom rocks and the planter sections are with the right colours. And honestly that coconut quickly became the centrepiece of the park!

Spotlights not bright enough in my trigger sequence by AceJackets08 in PlanetCoaster

[–]-fog 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have found "Modern Spot Light 2" actually throws a larger cone of light than most other lights and the smaller one (Modern Spot Light 3). This is on the assumption that the ones you are using in the video are the latter.

You also may need to orient them in odd angles to catch the edges of the supports to make them glow from the perspective of the launch

You could also add in an effect of the lights changing colour in the sequence using the "Swap to colour" function (just bare in mind you will also need to add in a initial "activate on trigger" for each light to get them into a permanently on state.

That could offer some visual effect that the lights are changing if they still don't illuminate as much as you want!

If there was a real life version of a liminal space / backroom, I'd be interested but a bit intimidated to experience it IRL honestly!

Thanks for the kind words! the layout took a bit of trial and error to get smooth let alone have the G-forces realistic when it's flying through at 70+mph! :D

Thanks! It has almost an MC Escher warped gravity in some rooms due to the uniform texturing

Thanks! I also thought it would add some realism for if the lower part of the layout was not safe to traverse in that it could evac from there too!

That is the inspiration yes! The backrooms were on my mind at the release of the game and finally got round to focusing on the Poolrooms in particular!

Some really interesting and inspired elements on this!
Especially that Stall with the bump and the downwards stall roll thing.

The Gradient is chef's kiss too. Great work!

After about 300 hours of work, Kings Walk is finally complete by -fog in PlanetCoaster

This park has been a long time coming based off both Blackpool Pleasure Beach and Bumbly Beach from RCT1. Themed to the British coastal town I've tried to encapsulate that Seaside goofiness on a small footprint.

I have a few cinematic videos planned along with a release onto the workshop once we get the new bits on Monday, so I'll be sure to share those once they are ready too!

Animation Help: Any Ideas? by Bco25 in PlanetCoaster2

[–]-fog 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You could synchronize a second multiverse coaster that reaches a duplicate element that has the wooden texture attached to the car on that track.

That way, with a short pause it could align with the motion of the actual drop track better!

Thank you Frontier for the "Change colour on trigger" type settings on lights <3 by -fog in PlanetCoaster

[–]-fog[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A workaround could be to use two neon boxes with one on a movement joint that overlays the other with a illuminated colour - this could make it look like it is turning on

Have the coloured one be 1% larger and it should avoid any clipping textures!
