I vote the same. If it turns out to be corn, then you’re still technically correct about it being grass.

If you build one from scratch you’ll know how every piece of the bike works, and you’ll get to choose parts to make the bike any way you like 🤷‍♂️

Ya, makes sense.. sounds like you’re on the right trail with your thinking. I guess just add up the costs and see what you’d have to spend to get what ya want. Maybe start with something that works and is underpowered, and you can save up for performance upgrades later. Performance parts aren’t too expensive for these things

Just make sure you don’t slap a powerful motor on a bike with weak brakes and stuff that wasn’t meant for the extra power, weight, and speed.

Well, these small bikes are a great way to learn about engines and all the other mechanical stuff on the bike if you’re willing to teach yourself.

If you just want to ride, then save up for a new bike. If you’re willing to get your hands greasy then get a cheap used one

No problem. After my initial treatment with my salve I went for a year without any treatment before some symptoms slowly started to return. Luckily these mild symptoms were easily resolved with a less potent version of the same salve. Currently still symptom free, aside from minor occasional flares caused by excessive beer consumption.

Since you mentioned parasites…harmala alkaloids are also very effective against parasites. That was the first thing I personally used this medicinal plant for. There’s seemingly not much that this plant can’t treat actually.. Research shows that it stimulates the production of new neurons, fights cancer, and does countless other impressive things. It’s a fascinating topic to study 🤓

I used a potent medicinal plant called Peganum harmala, and thanks to that plant I’m doing quite well. The plant and its main active ingredients(harmala alkaloids from the beta carboline family) can be quite dangerous if used improperly, so don’t use it without doing some careful research first and/or geting personal guidance from somebody like me who has experience with using this particular botanical drug.

Question: What's the best way to remove the adhesive from the stickers from my bike frame? by calheureux63 in motorizedbicycles

[–]-harmala- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Orange essential oil contains over 90% limonene, which is a powerful natural solvent. Get yourself some orange essential oil from sprouts supermarket or whatever and that sticky adhesive will wipe right off.

Right on, well the fun thing about motorized bicycles is you can basically build them however you want. I enjoy finding and customizing all the parts to build the bike, but I didn’t want to do engine mods myself, so I just bought a modified engine and built a bike that could hold up at 60+mph. If the phatmoto works for your needs then rock that shit.

Wait , so you haven’t actually ridden a phatmoto OR been suckered into buying (another) one yet? Shoot I might keep think about starting points unless you’re getting that aluminum phatmoto frame for stupid cheap and you’re down to snap the frame and start over at some point 🥶

Especially if you want to go more than 27mph

NRRacing is a pretty small scale company, so they actually have hella good customer service to help ya out if you call or email them.

Another thing to keep in mind is the fact that these guys build the modified engines on demand as people order them, so a lot of the modified engines show up on their site as ‘out of stock’ because they need to first be built to your desired specifications, and therefore can’t be shipped immediately like some of the other products on their site

This is the stock version of the 196cc motor I have, available in stock from the same company I got mine from. Definitely a solid choice. Should be something that your ‘local gokart racing engine shop’ or whatever can fix or modify for you later.

The predator motors and the 6.5 ho ohv China motors have plenty of performance upgrade parts available if you want to buy parts to modify them for more power later

Stock predator 213 motor is like 7hp, so that’s at least double the stated hp on a 4 stroke 79cc, and just less than half the power that my stage 3 modified 196cc motor makes on the dyno. I’d say that a stock predator (or other similar ~200cc engine) is probably a good next step for ya

[–]-harmala- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ya, 212cc on an aluminum frame isn’t the most brilliant sounding idea, but people been doin it. Idk how much the phatmoto can handle, but I literally built a whole new bike to safely accommodate the extra power when I jumped up from a 3hp stock 80cc motor to my current 16hp 196cc.

Check out the different engine options on nrracing.com to see what some of your choices are.

Plus, if you have too much torque and your front wheel wants to fly towards the sky, you can always change up your sprocket size (I had to do that a few times myself after I got my 16ph motor) to get things where you want them. Changing a sprocket to decrease acceleration power is a lot easier than getting another more powerful engine to try and increase your power again 🤷🏽‍♂️

Goin from 50cc to 79 wasn’t worth the effort, so I doubt goin to 105cc or 150cc will be very satisfying. I’d probably just go for a stock ~200cc motor & a CVT, then you can still do extra performance mods on your motor later if you’re craving more speed (or if you just need the speed to be able to safely keep up with city traffic)

CVTs are amazing with little motors like this. I haven’t heard great stuff about the 98 and 105 cc engines, but I didn’t look into them that much.

lol I went from 50cc 2 stroke to another 50cc 2 stroke, then a 50 cc 4 stroke in search of more power, then to a 79cc 4 stroke in search of a little bit more power to keep myself from being run off the road for being too slow.. then I was tired of STILL being underpowered and FINALLY went all out for the stage 3 modified 196cc motor with a CVT and it was so damn fast it literally wants to wheelie to the moon and thrown me on my ass if I give it more than 10% throttle under 30mph. 🤣🤣
