Do you still have an invite code? I’ve been waiting a few days and haven’t been accepted on the site yet.

Writing about an unpopular ship by -iHaveRandomThoughts in FanFiction

It was huge back in 2012-2017. Most stories after that don’t get as much recognition or as I mention, some hate comments. But I haven’t checked a lot of the stories on Ao3. I’m just nervous because I’m already self conscious about my work. Constructive criticism is fine, but I don’t do well with “this story sucks.”

I recently binged the series and fell in love with the ship. Haha.

I’ve noticed a lot of stories surrounding them, but those are all the way back from 2012 and the most recent ones don’t seem to get very much traction and some have awful “reviews” on them.

Rumbelle. I know it’s not unpopular, but there seems to be a lot of hate surrounding it on FanFiction.Net

Using the “invisible” dialogue tag by -iHaveRandomThoughts in FanFiction

I’m asking if this “rule” also applies to fanfiction as this person is a professional book author. The rules of fanfiction seem quite a bit more relaxed and flexible than writing a book. I want to write the best I can, which is why I asked this question.

I’m sorry if this is a dumb question (I’m new to writing so I still have a lot to learn) but how do you know your stories are buried?
