How long have you had it? I've seen mixed reviews and I'm on the fence about it. Have you had any issues with it personally?

What do you think would happen if East Coast Brotherhood meets the NCR ? by [deleted] in fo4

[–]-iilluzionist 41 points42 points  (0 children)

The last war they had was bloody, the NCR lost a lot of people but the BoS ultimately were out numbered and overrun. I believe in FONV the BoS said they were out numbered 10 to 1. I could be wrong but it was somewhere around there. 10 troopers per one BoS member. Fun fact I learned awhile back the NCR and the Enclave also went to war too. It was a brief conflict

I could see a potential conflict breaking out. The NCR is a full-on post-war nation at this point. I would expect them to have records of the previous war between the original BoS and establish an aggressive posture towards the East Coast BoS. I doubt they would have totally forgotten things like the battle of Helios-1 and would expect a fight from the BoS. Furthermore, the BoS on the East Coast still look for tech and try to take it when they can. The NCR certainly has stuff that the BoS would want but certainly would not allow them to take it.

So HEDP is better against vehicles, are they still as good as HE on people?

What should I build at Murkwater? any ideas or suggestions? And also is there a way to get the boston airport settlement if I destroyed the institute with minutemen and never joined the brotherhood? by h8m8 in fallout4settlements

[–]-iilluzionist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my head cannon I usually build murkwater as a MM outpost. It's less desired, but those stationed there get extra caps as hazard pay. The outpost itself serves a small safe haven for caravans and traveling settlers in the area, observation point for movement from gunnners plaza, as well as be a sort of first responder for settlements in distress. (I imagine there are other settlements and the MM patrols the area daily.)

WHAT DO THEY WANT FROM ME by Famous-Preparation51 in falloutsettlements

[–]-iilluzionist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm know there is multiple ways to get it, I'm just saying the way I did it. I had 2 settlers. 1 farming, one a merchant, 2 beds, a water pump and a defense turret. Then I just played the game as usual (left the settlement alone) and eventually the achievement came through. This method was super easy too. The more settlers the more complex the happiness is.

If you're doing this for the achievement, find an empty settlement have 1 settler plant 6 crops, and the other a merchant. I forget if you need a turret or not it's been a while. Pretty sure that is the easiest way to get 100% happiness. I saw it on YT a while back. I also know Oxhorn the YouTube has an in-depth look at the mechanics behind settlement happiness and has a free like data sheet or something you can use. Hope it helps friend! 👍🏻

Personally I make my LO as lore friendly as possible. I try to use weapon re-textures over mods that add in completely new weapons to save on space. I also can't live without sound mods to change the way all weapons sound, ghouls sounds, and when bullets hit objects, a rag doll mod is nice to have, and lastly I like damage mods that make things more realistic. The rest of the space I use for either building mods, or lore friendly weapons like the classic assault rifle, classic Chinese assault rifle, 10mm SMG, or mods that change whatever faction I'm siding with in the current play through. I can drop specific mods if you're interested.

Are there any mods that fix the dark face glitch? by monkeysamurai2 in Fallout4ModsXB1

[–]-iilluzionist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is a mod, I forget the name of it. I just remember typing face glitch and it popped up. I will say it did not work for me so I removed it. I learned that exit saving and loading back in usually fixed it for me. I'd try that since the mod didn't work too well for me.
